I too am having the problem with the trigger no longer fully opening the seals. On top of that, coffee will dribble out of the top of the lid at what appesrs to be an access cover for part of the trigger mechanism. Otherwise I love the cup

More of less the same as others... - From the beginning, the ridge in the middle crashes in to my nose, so I have to lean my head back to drink, which is not the most convenient (especially while driving) - Just a year or so old, and the trigger mechanism barely opens the sip holes any more, and it leaks slightly from the pressure valve, especially when I tilt it back, trying to actually get some coffee out of it. But the handle is great, and the style and size of the cup works perfectly in cup holders. And it doesn't leak when closed... just when I'm drinking from it. Lid design could use some work. I'd even probably order a replacement lid, if I could figure out how to do that, although it's not that old.

This new 1 let's out a tiny trickle of coffee! The Randolph was a five out of five! Bring back the Randolph bc I need to buy a few since I lost a couple I had for years!. So irritating I paid for this new one and it's unusable!

Really like this cup, especially the handle and auto seal lid. However, after 6 months I noticed less and less coffee coming out until now it’s barely a drop. Had to go back to my 10 year old Thermos cup.

Would be great but after a few months the lid fails to open when the button is depressed. The good thing is that Contigo will replace the mug. However I bought 3 initially and had to replace all 3. Those 3 replacements all had the exact same issue.. if they fix the mechanism that controls the plunger, this would be a great mug. It is unfortunate as I had 3 of the old design for several years, using every day without a problem.

I've enjoyed this mug for several years and liked it very much. However, it suddenly started leaking rapidly around the plastic/steel interface. The rubber gasket seems to be intact but the leak is bad enough to render the mug useless. So sad.

LOVE these.... until they don't work. I have severe nerve damage so I can't feel my hands and I shake a lot so I need a sealed mug. These work Very Well plus the handle helps keep the mug from slipping out of my hand when I shake. I now have 6 of them.... but NONE of them work now!!! They are so expensive I'm not sure if they are worth buying due to the failure rate. If you don't need to use it often, they might last, but with pretty much continuous use, they will NOT hold up!!!

I have had mine for 5+ years and it is still my go-to travel mug. It consistently keeps my coffee hot even on very cold winter days while cleaning the (unheated!) barn. Fun fact: If you leave it in the hot sun with a hot drink, again even in winter, your drink will even gain warmth. I love my old style press-with-your-thumb locking /unlocking button to prevent any accidental spills and secure warmth. The only sad problem is that after a thousand washes in the dishwasher, the plastic and rubber components are more susceptible to picking up an after taste from the dishwasher tabs. Simple solution: I don't wash it in the diswasher anymore! I abuse travel mugs because they go to the barn, on the tractor, spend hours on a zero turn mower, etc. and I can say this one is my absolute favorite.

I'm very happy with this mug. My son purchased it for me for my birthday and lasered The name of the Navy submarine and dolphins on it. I use it nearly everyday. I planned to purchase a dozen or two for him to personalize for my next years submarine crew reunion. They would make great gifts, but have had trouble locating an amount of black mugs at any store.

I bought this as a replacement to the discontinued Randolph travel mug which I had dropped. The design is inferior to the Randolph in a number of ways: 1. The lock/unlock switch is harder to switch with your thumb 2. The overall size is bulkier and takes up more space on my desk 3. The handle is less comfortable 4. My nose hits the lid because the center of the lid is raised. What if i have a cold...? 5. The mouth piece is deep, awkward and less comfortable to drink from 6. The warm hours rating is worse why change a previously great and well rated design??

It works well in the beginning, but then the mechanism that allows liquid to flow out fails. I loved the concept in the original (Randolph), beautifully designed, comfortable to hold, reliable, right size for most occasions. Unfortunately, this replacement to the lineup is a dud. Please bring back the Randolph!!!

We have had several of the “old style” Randolph mugs that we have used successfully for many years. Decided to buy a couple of more but we are VERY disappointed with the new lids. The part that says Contigo is too big and you have to tip your head back too far while drinking. Very uncomfortable to use. Bring back the old style again please. Won’t purchase again till this design flaw is fixed.
