Contigo 24oz Ashland 2.0 AutoSpout Tritan Water Bottle

Unfortunately the mouthpiece doesn't retract/close any more. After a few months of buying it. Target doesn't accept this item return. Very unfortunate as I thought the brand would be reliable.

Received this as a Christmas gift and I was thrilled with it. That one was not an auto spout as I prefer no straw. someone else in the house was loading the dishwasher and put bottle in for cleaning, Dishwasher deformed by the bottle where the lid no longer fits. I was really disappointed because it came from someone very special and I thought of them every time I used it. Reluctantly, I’ve had to replace it, and I got the auto spout this time.

Was working fine for a short time but then at some point it begin to leak air and makes a loud sucking noise when you drink from the straw.

Leaked within 3 months of having it. Not worth the money

The old model was fantastic. Mine finally broke after about 5 years. On this one, the straw leaks air when you drink water. It was too expensive for this flaw, and now it's too late for me to take it back.

I’ve had these bottles for years and they’ve been mostly great. The top has some leaking problems, so be careful and keep it upright. Also it does sometimes spray you with water when you pop the top. My major issue is with the straws— it doesn’t stay in place and that can make it hard to suck the water out. I do like that they’re clear now, but I miss the way the straws were before with the screw on top.

This water bottle was great in the beginning and I liked the green but I’ve had a few instances where I pulled it out of my bag and popped the straw up to have fluid shot all over me and the surrounding areas. It’s hard to clean the lid and I have to readjust the straw after every refill because it won’t let you suck easily. The bottle itself is fine but the lid seems to be the majority of the issue. I mostly came to find a different lid but decided to leave a review just in case someone else needed a warning.

I Loved this water bottle until it stopped working. This has happened with both of my Contigo water bottles. I am sucking and I am just getting air. Or air with a tiny little bit of water in it. I have tried putting the straw in any possible way and I have never put it in the dishwasher. Pretty disappointing when the cheaper brand has held out much better for me.

Bottle looks good and worked great for one refill. After filling it the 2nd time the straw no longer works. Sucking on the mouthpiece will only draw air and a splash of water. I checked all the potential spots for air to enter the straw, the top connection is tight, no obvious gaps anywhere. The spout no longer flips up, so it appears the spring has failed, difficult to see. An expensive water bottle when it works only one time.

First Water Bottle bought in 25 years and this one was as miserable as it could have been. I pushed the button that opened the straw and when the bar was pushed to open the mouth piece WATER CAME WATERFALLING ALL OVER THE PERSON’S DESK, FLOOR IN FRONT AND BACK AND MADE A DISASTER BIG TIME.

The mouth piece is not large enough and is oddly shaped such that it’s difficult to actually get any water out. I’ll stick with camelbak brand instead or something with an actual straw.

good water bottle for the price! mine finally cracked after one too many falls but I will be buying another. | +pros: the lid! I like how the spout folds into the lid & I like the lock feature. it's also survived several falls on different floors (I drop things a lot). //mehs: make sure to wash it on the top rack of a dishwasher so nothing melts! I'd also recommend hand washing it every so often to get what dishwashers won't & to prevent mold. // cons: like other reviews have said, the straw goes down so it's hard to drink sometimes. it also spits water at you sometimes if it isn't stored upright when full.

These water bottles worked great until they went through the dishwasher. I had washed them for a long time but decided to put through the washer. Washed on top rack and now it seems like something went wrong in the lid. Water does not flow through properly any more. They still work but not as well. 🤔

I love the shape and size of these water bottles but the rubber piece that bends for the bottle to close broke on my original one within 3 months and I had it warrantied just for that one to break in the same amount of time. When this breaks all suction is lost and the straw is no longer usable.

Love this but now all I seem to get is mostly air and very little water. So frustrating.

I have no doubt the negative reviews were real experiences, but I'm sure they are a small % of sales. Most people who are happy with something, just use it, don't write reviews. I own several of these water bottles and have had no issues using them over years. None melted in the dishwasher. None leaked unless I didn't close it properly. I have tried more expensive brands, and regret those purchases. These are the only water bottles I will buy. They just work. Like that this model is plastic, since it keeps the weight down. Their metal version of this is great, but as its metal, its much heavier. I like something I can throw in a handbag without weighing it down.

This is a great water bottle it's made really well it's a nice size to hold your water it has an easy to put on lid it locks and its easy to open and close the spout is easy to use it's easy to clean as well my son loves it he used it for camp and is still using it daily I would definitely recommend
