Contigo Byron 2.0 Stainless Steel Travel Mug with SNAPSEAL Lid

The SnapSeal pop up tab is basically impossible to pop up. You need both thumbs and the power of Thor to get it open.

Love my contigo, they get dropped so many times, left on the roof of my car and found on the road, dropped on rocks getting into truck. I'm not gentle and overtighten all the time with no seal issues and none ever leak, except of I used the auto seal for a week, then forget the snap shuts open and shake it 😂. We have multiple as we like to thoroughly soak and wash them after every use. I have 7, spanning 8 years that me and my partner use. All 7 still work. My favourite is the Byron 2.0, only issue is, I can't buy another Byron in south Australia. Pros: keeps my coffee hot and drinkable for 5hrs in the morning. Very durable. Likes to be treated rough. Cons: Can't buy a Byron her in Oz.

RUST in seven months! This is my second one. The first one the cap seal kept falling out and the flip lid got to the point of too hard to open. the outside rubber portion for the hand started breaking down. After months, rust developed in the bottom of the second purchase.

If it starts leaking usually it means you need to replace the gasket, which is very inexpensive.

IAfter a few month it stopped holding heat and lid leaks too.

I have had my Contigo mug for over 8 years. I absolutely love it. I have bought others, but they always fall short. It’s starting to peel now. I’m so sad 😞

The flip top is such a bad design, in a family of five, each one of us struggled to open this bottle and some of us couldn’t open it at all, such a bad experience! Sure, the water won’t leak but you won’t be able to drink from this either! Too bad because the look of the bottle is great.

I like the grip and size and the easy open lid. Keeps my coffee hotter for longer.

The cups leaked after a week of use north worth it

It will be perfect for my Daughter , she is a Nurse who loves her Coffee. A great little reminder that I love her while she caffeinate

I have had a few through the years and am not disappointed. Only gripe is easy to tip over. But for the purpose of the design (cup holders) I’ll still give it an across the board 5 stars!

I love the design of the tumbler.

O-ring failed after a few weeks of use and now it leaks. Tried to replace it but it falls off every time the lid is removed. It’s too late to return so it’s going in the trash.

Does keep things hot and cold for hours.Not expensive.

Second purchase of the same cup. The flip top does not work. Absolutely will not open. Had to return. Seems like a manufacturing flaw.

I just purchased the Byron two weeks ago, the mug is the perfect size for me to carry around at work but as for the lid that is my only issue, I can not take it apart to give it a good cleaning. With my Yetis I have no problem cleaning the lids they are very easy to take apart and clean with no problem.

I will gladly increase the rating except, the rubber stopper got lost and I can't seem to be able to get a replacement
