[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was overjoyed to help review the Cool Maker Fashion Studio Activity Kit, I had just taught her how to hand stitch the week before we received this item free for reviewing purposes. She had a lot of fun with each of the items she got to create! I would recommend this to any child that is interested in sewing the self threading set up was a breeze for her, she hopes they will release more patterns for her to try in the future!

Way too much packaging and when you have an impatient child this isnt always a great thing. I will say she likes it a lot however she said it was a little small . She had a fun afternoon making napkins and fixing her doll clothes . She got dis interested though after a few days . I think this is a great toy for rainy days

Cool Maker Fashion Studio Activity Kit did not disappoint. We found it very easy to use. She made a scrunchie and case for my glasses. We bought one and gifted it to my niece!

This is not an activity that my 10 year old was able to do on her ownit does require some parent help to set up and get them started. Once she started, it was really easy to use. I love the fact that the needle is inside so you cant get poked with it. It came with a few cute projectswe completed the sunglass case and are working on the purse. I have only used the material provided for the projects,but I look forward to trying a variety of other materials to see if they work. Overall, a great little machine for a first time sewer with the help of an adult.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very cute idea if your child wants to learn to sew but not a reel feel of a machine. I put in brand new batteries that died within days.. so replacing them got costly, and ,my kid had a hard time staying on the lines for sewing. id almost rather it didn't have lines so if it didn't look perfect the kid wouldn't know!! Finding refills is hard most of my local stores don't carry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cool Maker Fashion Studio Activity Kit is fun for those who has no previous sewing experience. It's super easy to use and comes with a few great projects, and the instructions were clear enough for my 8 year old to figure out on her own. My 8 year old has previous sewing experience with a regular sewing machine, and it was actually problematic because the design of this machine (meaning to make it easy for kids to use) became confusing for her because it doesn't have regular sewing machine functionality. But for kids without previous experience, this kit is a great starter kit to see if they are actually interested in sewing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is the cutest sewing machine we ever tried. It is a fun and safe way to introduce children to sewing. Our kids learned how to place fabric, fold, check bobbin and thread and use a foot lifter. The kit includes 5 project to work on, a fabric with detailed instructions how to cut, where to fold and sew. There are also nice accessories to customize the final projects like stickers and prints, elastics for a headband and a scrunchie. It is fun to watch how pieces of fabric become a purse, a glass case and a plushie. Hopefully will use it for more sewing ideas in the future. Kids are easily bored with toys but with this machine they eager to learn more about sewing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was very excited that we were chosen to try out this Fashion studio Activity Kit! The idea is great, its a sewing machine with a needle but the needle is completely covered from all sides so little fingers don't get pricked. It functions like a regular sewing machine but it uses "Smart Stitch Sensors" , its supposed to sense the lines on the fabric and know when to automatically start sewing and when to stop sewing all by itself. All it has is a start button and the machine takes off by itself. I found that the machine wasn't very good at detecting the lines on the fabric and it just sewed willy nilly. You need to guide the fabric through without pushing or pulling by it definitely didn't stay in a straight line and readjusting was needed. I like that it came with the needle prethreded and that it came with all the fabric we needed to make a few different projects, as well as the template to cut out. We managed to make the sunglasses case (first project) without too many problems other than wonky lines, but the second project was a ponytail and that had some difficulties. For that project it required you to double up the fabric and sew through 4 layers. The machine was not having it. Everytime we tried to sew the ponytail ends together (last step), the machine/ needle kept getting jammed. I'd fix it, reposition the fabric and try and but it just kept jamming, we followed the instruction to a T , even tried to flatten the fabric to make it thinner. Nothing worked. After the 4th attempt, my daughter wasn't feeling it anymore, and I told her I would just finish the ponytail by hand (needle and thread). That's where we stopped with the machine and I'm not too sure if we will be trying it out again soon.

My youngest daughter really loves useing her new sewing machine, the "Stich and Style fashion studio" by Cool Makers to make purses, makeup bags and stuffy included in the box. She also tried useing the machine to make scrunchies and they turned out awesome. #coolmakers really makes some awesome toys for boys and girls to play with and keep them occupied for hours while teaching them great occupational therapy skills and gives them a great sence of accomplishment when they have completed a beautiful self made creation. Its fun bringing family members together to make crafts. This sewing machine has sensors so my daughter knows when to sew, making it so much easier than pulling the thread out and restarting the craft. Inside the box it comes with the Stich and Style sewing machine, 1 thread cartridge, 1 stamper, 2 sewing clips, 1 ruler,, 1 threader tool, 1 printed fabric sheet, 1 sheet of hydroprints, 1 flat elastic, 1 round elastic and 1 detailed user friendly instruction guide. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the opportunity to try this product for free in exchange for my honest review. My 11 year old son was the tester for this one. He really enjoyed it. He's been interested in sewing for a while. The instructions were a little confusing to begin. They could have been clearer. But once he figured out how to work it, it went smoothly. He liked the sensor start and stop. He enjoyed a couple of the projects. The patterns are fairly easy. If we can find the thread cartridges and more patterns in store, he would definitely continue using it. My only complaint it that it is marketed specifically to girls. It would be great if the packaging could encourage boys to enjoy it. Mine did.

The fist thing she made was the little stuffy! After using it for awhile it got a little hard for the both of us to get the needle treaded again, but after several minutes fooling around with it, we figured it out! This is a perfect little machine for early learners. Definitely recommend this to my family and friends with kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We enjoyed using the Cool Maker Stitch N Style sewing machine. Everything you need is included in the box. I like that there is a secret compartment in the side of the machine that you can store the accessories in. Using the sewing machine was a bit of a learning curve. The instructions were quite detailed, but even so we had a few difficulties along the way. We found the automatic feeder to move very quickly so it was a challenge to get a straight stitch line. A couple of times the stitches did not come at all even though the needle was threaded. The instructions printed directly on the fabric were helpful. My daughter is 9, but has no experience with a sewing machine. The Cool Maker Stitch N Style is suitable for older children, or likely those who have had previous experience. It is a great idea - an all in one item. Although our end results did not turn out overly great, it was fun to get to make our own items. Thank you.

I helped her with the instructions and she finally got it. She made a cute little scrunchie with it ! The fabric that came with it is adorable . She's going to try the headband next #gotitfree
