Prior to using Coola's Dew Good Illuminating serum my morning skincare routine was pretty time consuming and consisted of washing my face, applying toner, vitamin c serum, hydrating serum, hydrating moisturizer, face sunscreen, and a primer…and once all of that was applied, I then had to apply my makeup. If I had known that Coola's Dew Good Illuminating serum, is a 3-n-1 product that brightens, hydrates, and protects your skin, and using it meant I no longer needed to apply serum, moisturizer, and a face sunscreen, I would've began using it years ago when it was released. This SPF/serum/moisturizer hybrid is beyond AMAZING! It is non-fragranced and has a lightweight lotion -like consistency, and although the serum is white in color it absorbs into your skin quickly leaving no white cast, meaning it can be used by people of any ethnicity and skin color. This SPF 30 serum is non-comedogenic and safe for those with the most sensitive of skin to use without having adverse reactions or getting clogged pores. It's also been clinically proven to hydrate and illuminate your skin immediately and for up to 8 hours after applying the serum, as well as it strengthens your moisture barrier and reduces the negative impacts of blue light exposure. Another important benefit to mention is that I did not experience any pilling with this serum, no matter the primer or foundation I used after applying the serum (I tried it with 3 different foundations and two different primers). I have combination skin—some areas are oily, while other areas are on the dryer side. I am also very pale, for context. This illuminating serum with SPF definitely gave off a glow to my skin. It was almost the iridescent color from the bottle even. It was a little TOO glowy for me but it was fine with some powder makeup on top of it. As an SPF it doesn't keep that white cast that you find with some SPF products. If you rub it in completely, you don't see it at all. I found that I definitely needed to have a moisturizer on top of this and my one complaint is it didn't seem to layer well with other products.
