I have adjusted the foam in every direction it just doesn’t work. The pillowcase on this one is most uncomfortable. I tried without a pillowcase on top to take advantage of the “cool” which was just super irritating for my face and with a pillowcase and I experienced now sensation of cool. I just would not recommend this at all. I bought the regular crescent pillow after and a completely different experience with that one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to remove some of the foam on the Eden Cool Adjustable Pillow to make it the perfect pillow for me. After using the pillow for a couple of nights without any big complaints, I realized that the pillow came filled with the amount of foam an average size person with average distance between their neck and and shoulders. Since I am a petite person, the distance between my neck and arm joint is shorter than the average person, so it dawned on me that I should reduce the height of the pillow and low and behold, removing some foam to make the pillow thinner turned the pillow into the best pillow I have ever slept with. The Eden Cool Adjustable pillow has made me one happy side sleeper!

The pillow cover is SLICK so no pillowcase will stay on it, none fit it correctly, & I slide off of it. So, I am in love/hate.

I had to sleep on my arm under the pillow, which was beginning to maybe contribute to some shoulder issues. So I tried this pillow on a friend’s recommendation. I needed all the filling added, but that plumped it up to just the right level. I give it a good fluff to be sure the filing hasn’t settled out of the center and too much toward the ends, then tuck it in around behind my back, kind of at an angle. That seems to be the most comfortable. I like the cutout for that reason. I can be a little more surrounded by the pillow. It absolutely does stay cooler than my old memory foam pillow, but I can still get hot. Then again, I’m at that age and stage when it’s just going to happen. The feel-cool surface pillow case really does feel cool, but I don’t particularly like to sleep directly on it. Just personal preference. Adding my own pillow case over the top does inhibit some of that surface feeling, but it’s not a bother to me. On the whole, I’m really pleased with the purchase and recommend it myself.
Needs a pillowcase to be built specifically for it.

I purchased the curved “cool” version and was impressed with how cool the pillow felt. However, I tried sleeping with it and it continued to slide around and I’d find my head off of the pillow and I’d have to find it. This happened on multiple sets of sheets (cotton and bamboo) and still wouldn’t stayed put. I returned it.

Love it! My only regret is that I didn't buy one sooner. I love that it's adjustable, it does sleep cooler than any other pillow I've tried (it still gets warm but I'm not waking up to a sweaty head and eczema breakout like with the pillowcube). The cut out is perfect. I only wish you had a silk pillowcase for it and more options for cases but otherwise it's a win for me. Thanks!

I sleep on either side as well as my back — a rotisserie sleeper. there’s often nothing under my head which causes me to wrestle with the pillow. I have tried both adding more foam as well as reducing the amount of foam, only to have the same result each night. i also do not find it “cooling” at all. My wife has given up using it altogether. sorry, but you asked.

The Eden Cool does run a little more firm. I removed the pillowcase it comes with and replaced it with the regurlar pillowcase made for the cutout and the firmness decreased and the good news, it still stays cool--not as cool, but enough to notice.

Like sleeping on an ice cube. I'm sure that is an amazing feature in the summer but its been hard to deal with in fall and winter. I didn't consider that it would be so extreme. I like the shape and appreciate the support. My issue is that its SO slippery that you can't get your head to stay where it needs to stay because it keeps slipping off. I have put a pillow case over the top to try and combat that, but the shape still has me bamboozled a bit. I mostly now just flip it around and sleep on the non cutout side. If I could redo the purchase I would get a normal shaped pillow without the cooling feature. I do think the support is a win. Still fills plush but adjustably allows support. I tried a couple of other brands pillows before this and they felt like sleeping on rocks and gave my neck a terrible time. The filling on this pillow has thankfully resolved that. .
