Core Equipment Lighted 9 Person Instant Cabin Tent

I bought this tent just recently and set it up at home. It was very easy to setup, so nice design. Does this tent have an attachable canopy for either side? The only comment I would make that would make this a 5 star rating would be a solar powered option vs battery powered. My first camping trip is scheduled for May. Stay tuned.

This tent leaks like a sieve and was found to leak in 7 locations.

Great tent with a super easy set up and tear down process. Cabin lights are amazing. The only negative is we wish it had a full rain fly, however we did camp in the rain and the tent stayed dry inside.

My second core tent and they never disappoint!! I got this one because of the built in lights and it’s great! Highly recommend it. Saves me the hassle of traveling with lanterns

Very impressed with this tent! We love the overhead lighting. We had a 3 hour sever thunderstorm last night and there wasn’t one leak!! Super happy with this purchase!

I bought this tent months to get ready for a camping trip. When the time finally came, rain was expected soon. Having never opened this bag prior, I found set-up very simple. The tent was up in a few minutes with the help of my wife. Taking the tent down was just as easy, tent was down and ready to go within 2-4 minutes. The first night it rained a decent amount and this tent didn't leak. The built in lights were great for my son at bedtime using the built-in light/nightlight. Plenty of windows and top screen to provide air flow. The tent is over 6 ft in the center for. Pros: easy set-up/take down, built-in lighting, high ceiling to be able and stand up. Cons: none yet

I practiced setting it up before my actual camping trip. I set it all alone and it took, maybe 5 minutes. It’s super easy and a huge convenience for me since I camp alone. I look forward to using it in August.

Love the size. I’m 6’3 and I can easily walk inside the tent with out having to bend over. The lights are awesome.

This was so quick and easy for a beginner camper. I love the lights. I put an Anker external battery in the battery pocket instead of using disposables. The light kept our campsite from being too dark also. My only complaint is really just a design flaw. The pockets on each side of the wall are nowhere near where we would lay our heads. We put a queen air mattress in it and the pockets seems like it would’ve been intuitive to put near the “head” of the tent instead of at our feet in the middle.

I have never in my life wrote a review but I buy based on reviews and I couldn’t let this one go. This is a very durable tough build tent. I got caught in a very nasty storm with high winds and this tent stayed in tack and nothing broke or ripped. I had to hold the side wall so it doesn’t collapse on us but eventually we left everything in the tent and ran to the truck. That tent took a bitting for 5 hours in the wind/rain and didn’t not break. I had some water in the tent but compare to how bad the storm was the water was nothing. The stakes did pull up but didn’t damage the eyes,seems held up wonderful, metal poles didn’t brake or bend, zippers work, lights work. I thought I would had just to throw it in the trash after the storm but oh boy I was wrong. Great buy and I hope this review helps someone make the decision I did 3 year ago!

Love the size and love the LED lights. I was able to set up the tent by myself the first time, but would have been much quicker and easier with at least 2 people. Rained heavily after being set up and did get a small amount of leakage. Seems like the leakage was where the net storage bags were attached and where the window tie straps were. Very easy to wipe up. Folding the tent back up was not real easy for one person to do, but I did it! Best for at least two people to setup and take down the tent. Overall, I am very satisfied with the tent.

I have to say, I wish I could give it 4.5 stars instead of 4 but the system won't let me do that. This is a big tent! Setup is super easy. Do a trial run before you actually use it. I didn't read the instructions and had it up in 5-10 minutes. When I actually went camping me and a friend had it up in less than 5 minutes, with the rain fly, again...without reading the instructions. I slept in it by myself and will be using it again in two weeks with my wife and dog. I am sure you could easily fit a queen mattress in there. Nine people would be a squeeze for sure, but you could probably do it although I wouldn't. I would say it gives four people plenty of space without feeling crammed. I'm 6'1" and can stand up in it, which is appreciated. The lighting is nice to have although I do wish there was an option to turn off the lights on the switches (maybe there is and I missed it) since the switch is lit up at night and kind of annoying; I suppose I could've just unplugged it. The lights will also run off of a power pack if you have one, which is cool. I really like the layout of it. It has sort of a "Screen room" and you can put your queen bed (or twin XLs as I have) in the "bedroom" and use the included room divider if you want. I didn't use the vents on the bottom of the sides in the "bedroom" but they're nice to have. Plenty of storage options to put phones, etc. It also has plenty of hooks for hanging things like lights and fans. Breaking the tent down is fairly easy although getting it back in the back can potentially be a struggle, but I feel like that's the case for a lot of tents. I also didn't use the included ties to cinch it together, so take that into consideration. I didn't use the stakes at all, so I cannot comment as to their quality. Now the downside and here's where it lost half a star for me. It down poured for a couple of hours and when I went in the tent, there were a few small puddles, and I mean small (hand sized), but I was disappointed to see that it had leaked. I did not spray the tent at all with any water proofing prior to going camping. The puddles were easily wiped up in a few seconds with a towel, and ultimately it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. Someone at another campsite with the exact same tent in green said theirs leaked too, but that A) Theirs was old, and B) The instructions that I didn't read, say that in heavy rain, to use a tarp. Who knows, maybe some water proofing spray around the seams would help. I do not want to have to take a giant tarp with me if there's potential for rain. I did tons of research before purchasing this tent and am ultimately happy with my purchase. I don't think you'll be disappointed. PS. I would recommend buying the footprint.

Beyond our expectatives, very easy to install and remove

It was as easy to set up. All dividers and zippers worked great. Haven’t been challenged by weather or wind yet but I’m confident it will hold up. We shall see.

Finally put up the tent and it was super simple easy popup maybe 10min to make sure I did it right with my fiancés help, who was the sceptic with assembly but I proved him wrong as usual. Seems well made, but living in South FL will be the test for leaks. I’ll update review after a few months. I’d say this 9 person tent is more of a 8 squeezed or spacious 4. I have photos but I don’t see where to add them.

But set up in the yard, for double waterproofing! We love it! Have a king size mattress in the one side, and loving the amount of natural light/air space.

very satisfied with this 9 person lighted tent. tried this in the rain and i can say that the waterproofing of this tent is superb.easy to set up and tear down.the lighted effect is a plus..

great tent, very spacious. haven't tried it yet just set it up in the front yard. can't wait to use this.

Just unboxed my new tent, found two holes in the screen. Plan on taking a long camping trip next week.

This tent is awesome, fast set up. And we get a living space and bedroom. Plus plenty of room for the pup to roam around
