The slim, compact size and versatility of this roll is ideal for home, work, travel, or while recuperating from an injury. This ergonomic roll reduces pressure on various body parts to help relieve pain. Use under neck to help maintain natural cervical curve when lying on your back. Use behind the back when sitting or lying down to help reduce stress on the spine while supporting the natural curve of the lower back. Use to elevate knees and help reduce pressure on hips and low back when lying down. Use under ankles to help reduce pressure and ease pain on back of heels. The size (small) and firmness (low level of firmness) of this pillow make it good for behind the neck while laying down or sleeping and behind the back as a lumbar pillow while sitting. Depending on the person’s weight and the firmness of the bed, there would be limited benefit to using it behind the back as a lumbar pillow while sleeping (pillow squishes down flat from body weight). The small size (width and height of the half-moon) might not fit all persons’ back curvature; it provides only limited lumbar support for me personally when sitting). The small size overall would make it great for traveling (airplane seat, hotel bed, etc). The cover (which feels water-proof and quality) is easy to remove to wash, and the pillow is wrapped in a soft fabric to keep spills from sinking into the pillow.

I have scoliosis and was told to place this pillow in specific locations when I sleep on my side to support my spine and this pillow does the trick! I feel support where I need it. It also provides lumbar support for my husband's back.
The foam deteriates with in two weeks.

I use the the D roll in my car everyday but the foam looses it's elasticity within two weeks. I love the size and it fits well in my car and chairs but squeezes to half it's size within two weeks

I bought these as extras to put in my car and in my bed for lumbar support needed due to scoliosis. Works like a charm. I can get out of bed now without the horrible stiffness I use to have. Great product for me.

My wife uses two of these to help her sleep on her side correctly. I bought one for myself and didn't find it useful. I found that the product is very light and the material slick enough, that it doesn't support me at all. She is much smaller, so maybe that's the difference.
