I've owned several of these over the years. They work better than many of the other similar cost products. A drawback is the constant pulling down of the brace by the rubber cords. Within a month, the back of the brace start to "buckle up" due to the pressure and will start digging into the back of the ankle. As the rubber strap stretches/ages, you lower the cable down another loop to put enough pressure to lift your foot up again. But you have the bucking of brace. I generally get about 6 months out of mine before having to get a new one. Also the Velcro straps gets clogged up with fuzz over time and doesn't want to grip well. Despite the complaints, it is still one of the better orthotics of this type that I've used. I've tried the hard plastic ones and originally the horrible metal one that attached permanently to one pair of shoes as well. This unit is better. I just wished they lasted and stayed comfortable longer. I'm fairly active due to walking a lot. Maybe for those less active, the brace would last longer.

This order arrived lightning fast considering we live in Canada and it came from the US. I highly recommend this company!

I use it most of the day and it works, but the band around the leg starts to collapse after a few hours. Can you make it a little more vertically rigid?

After several hours of use, I find my foot gets sore and I need to detach the device but that is very easy. Easy off - easy on. I had another device which attaches to the shoelaces but they stretch out. Attaching to the eyelets is stronger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Orthosis for 6 months. It has pretty much done .what it is supposed to do. I use it a few days a week and also use my Solid Brace. I still have some ankle weakness. Drawback on the brace is the pain caused by it digging into my achilles tendon after several hours of wearing. The back of the brace needs more support as it does buckle from the tension. Have not tried driving yet. Tension bands and hooks could be lower priced as is expensive once shiping added. Makes it tougher when on a fixed income.

I have had my Apple Core for about 6 months at the advice of my PT. It is a fantastic product. I suffer with multiple sclerosis and have drop foot. This product is a game changer and has greatly improved my quality of life!!!! Although I still walk with a cane I am much more confident since having the brace. Very easy to use. You can adjust the tension on the back by changing the level of the loops, which I have done a few times, and it's very easy to take on and off and attach to your tennis shoes. Just wrap on your ankle, Velcro, hook and go! Fantastic fantastic!!!!

The braces is some what difficult to attach to the shoe. I was hoping this would be better but it hasn't completely lived up to what I was expecting.

Easier to change shoes as long as one has enough Eyelet clips installed on several pairs of shoes. Works great on my Keens without the clips. If you suffer from drop foot as I do truly recommend you try out the FootFlexor. Just make sure you order extra eyelet clips.
