A: In 4-wheel mode, the carrying surface measures about 12 inches wide and 24 inches long and has a 300 pound maximum weight capacity. Because it is not a solid flat surface, this may prove difficult for a planter to balance on, particularly on an uneven surface, such as a lawn.

A: Both model numbers are for the Cosco Shifter, however this particular model is the 12222. The 12225 has an added feature of an extendable handle, which is nice if you are on the taller side. The 12222 is about $20 less expensive, however that can vary by retailer. A: The Cosco 2 in 1 Hand Utility Cart Dolly would be perfect for this! With folded dimensions of 13"H x 16"W x 4.25"D, it even folds small enough for a carryon. Car seats and bags vary tremendously in size, so please consider your needs and use straps/cords as necessary to secure them.

A: Thank you for your question! The Cosco 2 in 1 Hand Truck is lightweight and perfect for easy transport and moving heavy loads with ease. It works best on flat surfaces, but it can be used on stairs as well. The answer to whether this would work well for you on stairs would depend on what you were trying to move. Groceries for example would probably work best in a basket style cart, but boxes or other stackable items would do better with this style. Whichever cart you choose, always remember to secure your load and be careful! Stairs can be tricky under the best of circumstances.

I was skeptic for how durable and reliable this dolly would be, mostly due to parts of it being plastic. But let me tell you, this has been one of my most valuable purchased. It helped move large, heavy, packages for an order of a new mattress and bed frame. I was able to move them all on my own. Not to mention that it folds up for better storing.

This has been one of the best purchases I've made as an adult. I've had others ask about it. I use the flatter bed mode mostly instead of the traditional vertical hand truck mode. Still works just fine, even after a year and a half of owning it. Would most definitely purchase again!!

I bought this a few years ago and it still works like it’s new. As a woman living alone, I have used this to help me move my smaller things between apartments and use it every week to help me get groceries/boxes to my apartment. The two in one feature is so handy; I’ve moved really long boxes and items around easily. The tires on the dolly are really well constructed and turn corners well.

Conversion from cart to hand truck is easy, with diagrams on the cart itself. I do wish the larger wheels were just a little bit bigger for ease of going over bigger bumps. But it does make for relatively compact folded down size, which is handy when storing.

The dolly is well and securely made. The folding/unfolding process is great - very compact when stowed. The convertability from dolly to cart is great and will be handy. Despite the 300 lb rated capacity, the main wheels are bigger than the cart-conversion pair, but still much too small for use as a dolly on an uneven surface, stairs, etc., or even crossing a 1-inch hish threshold when pushing instead of pulling. The platform is too small to carry a large appliance like a dryer (the reason we bought it) without wobbling a lot.

This is probably the single best thing I've bought in years. I couldn't live without it! We got it to move super bulky and heavy things to our new apartment and we've been using it ever since. The perfect apartment purchase, especially if you have an elevator in the building, I can buy a bunch of things and don't have to make multiple trips to bring them in. Seems like a small thing, but it's made all the difference! Not just for moving big items now and then, but we use this all the time. It's lasted over a year of HEAVY use and I've been meaning to big this thing up forever. The price is very reasonable for all the convenience and joy this has brought! 10/10 would recommend!

I needed this cart quickly to help my daughter move out of her dorm. It was sold out everywhere! I kept checking Target.com and it was in stock near me! The whole process was seamless. This little thing was exact what we needed. We will be sending it with her next year to help with bringing groceries in, etc. Yes, we’ll probably change the tiny plastic wheels to something better, but it was great for the move!
