Q: Hi - when putting this together, can I skip the middle shelf position, and put the wire shelf on the bottom? I just want to make sure there is enough room for my modem, wifi router, etc. Thanks!

A: Considering the stability, it is not recommended to skip the middle shelf position and only install the bottom shelf.

I really like the octagonal shape (I seem to bump into corners) and the middle mesh shelf for devices that need a little extra cooling. It’s very sturdy yet took less than an hour to assemble by this 70 year old (me). Right now It’s used for a small tv but I plan to upgrade larger soon.

I'm really happy I purchased this TV stand. The design is nice. It was really easy in my opinion to put together. It's a really great size for a 1 bedroom apartment. I have this in my Living Room and I have a 43 inch TV on it. The TV is a perfect fit. Anything larger than a 43 in, the TV itself would hang over the sides. The legs might fit but TV will be longer than the this TV stand. You really know how something will look in a space until it's actually sitting in that space. This is the perfect size for where I have it placed.
