I really like the room divider but it is not what is pictured. The pattern is different,….there is no diamond pattern in the divider, which is what originally attracted me to this piece, and it is not solid black…. there are vertical rattan/reed pieces that are a natural light rattan shade (throughout. The room divider does not give a solid barrier as the weave is somewhat loose letting light come through.

Classic you get what you pay for situation. It looks pretty cheap and feels flimsy. I’m having a lot of trouble finding a divider that is long enough for my space, so I guess I’ll keep it. But I definitely considered returning it once I saw it in person.

Advice for those wishing this was sturdier for outdoors. I sprayed mine with shellac (zinsser). I use shellac because it’s the least toxic but spray yours with any kind of clear coat and it will become waterproof. I have another one I’m going to spray paint a color and then coat! If I ever get around to it I’ll post a picture!

Love the style, color, height and length of this divider screen. My only issue is that it is made with a very flimsy basket weave. I thought the weaving would be covered with some type of plastic coating, making it a lot more sturdy. I’m hopeful it will last a while. I have placed it in my patio for some needed privacy. The style is great with my Target patio furniture that I painted a grey/black. Enjoying this purchase!
