This plant stand was a really great deal compared to a lot of others. I actually was shopping at another big box store, found it there, did a google search, and found it for a way better price here at Target. As others have said, the instructions are not as detailed as they really need to be. We ended up putting 2/4 of the main vertical parts together backwards and had to backtrack. The heavy duty connectors also require a screw driver in addition to the included hex wrench (not a big deal but good to know). Even with having to back track a bit and second guessing ourselves, my husband and I finished this in under an hour and a half. The dimensions were accurate and it fit the space I had planned for it great. It’s a little overkill for the number of plants I currently have, and I’m not sure I’ll ever put plants on the very bottom since we have a dog, but for the price it seems pretty sturdy and it looks really nice!

I love the shelves, it's pretty sturdy and looks great! I might stain the shelves a darker color when it warms up. Only problem is the the instructions are terrible. I'm a pretty handy person and it took me 3 hours, with a power drill because I had to constantly take pieces apart to orient the holes properly. Other than that, I would recommend!

Holds small and medium plants (6-8inch pots or smaller) really well and one or two larger size plants. Over all I love it.
Large size, now I need to buy more plants!

Item arrived quickly. Package was dented but no damage to the stand. Took one person about 1.5 hours to assemble at a leisurely pace, with power drill (strongly recommended). Instructions are ok, but had to go back a few steps to rearrange shelves and vertical parts because it is hard to see details in the instructions. This is not customizable unless you drill new holes. Overall i give it 4 stars. It is solid and secure. The screws keep it tight and it will hold at least 25 planters of the 8-10 inch size. Good for an informal area or sunroom.
