I bought two of these climbing bars, one for my daughter who was 8 months old at the time and one for my 17 month old niece. My niece had already been walking for some time, so this was perfect for her to build some muscle strength and to learn to climb. My 8 month old, who is now 9 months old, is not walking yet but is becoming more confident. A lot of people thought my daughter was too young to have this but boy were they wrong. After one month my daughter climbs to the top with no help, and she can now take a step or two with confidence. She was born with club feet and has been on a journey with that, between casting and bars, so to see her excel faster than my other 3 children is amazing. (Research club feet if you don’t know what it is) My son who is 3 loves to help encourage his little sister to climb to the top. He’ll wait for her on one side and clap for her. It’s become a cute bonding experience for them. Buying this has also given my daughter the courage and the ability to climb the steps on her slide, which are steep steps. She gets to the top of the slide no problem and goes down with ease. There are many positive things I can say to this product, you absolutely need to buy this! No matter how young your little is, buy it!
