Broke because of poor welding. It was missing screws. Cost to much to be this crap. Happly for now I can use the base to hold our full size mattress on the floor and put or daughter in the twin part on the floor. I hate that the opening can only be placed on one side. The bar that keeps you from rolling off the top bunk started to crack. I also noticed a crack forming in the twin bed part of the bunk. The crack part in my pictures is the bottom bar that holds up the full size part of the bed. It was a crack but i pulled it and it easily peeled into what you see in the picture. bed made lots of Noise by the way. If you see welding like the one I showed in the picture do not buy it. I guess if you want to get two bed frames that you plan to place on the floor have at it. Also two of the screws were loose and kept turning when I tried to tighten it. It's may and I have tell July to return it. I think we had it for two months. May being month number two. I'm jit returning it as I for a different use for it and I do not have rhe money to buy a new bed. Target if you see this please remove this posting as this bed is extremely dangerous.
