There is no solid bottom, and the wall does not fold down to cover the pit. Worst of all, the varnish does nothing to protect the wood. One hot summer in and the wood is warped and cracked.

I love the toy storage and that my girls like it. However, I was disappointed in the quality. The screws would not stay in the wood, we had to use wood glue to help hold it together. I also do not love the cushion and covering cloth. They are barely large enough.
