Sauder Cottage Road 6 Drawer Dresser Raven Oak: Laminated MDF Storage, Metal Hardware, Includes Anti-Tip Kit

The dresser was harder to assemble than it should have been due to parts not labeled or labels very difficult to find and to read. Instruction manual is not written well either. 36 steps to complete. One drawer has a scratched paint spot. Finished product looks nice, though, and I'm happy with it.

This is my second piece from the Cottage Road collection. I've been a Sauder customer since the mid 2000's but only recently started purchasing direct and this is my first review. I don't have anything negative to say. I was a little worried about the right middle drawer I had to wiggle it open for a day or two but as expected it just needed a little breaking in, I didn't have to go back to readjust the support brackets or anything. I love the drawer safety feature. Packaging was excellent and every part arrived without any scratches, dings or dents.

Came to house in a lot of parts and assembly took a while, definitely a two person job. All in all, a very nice piece of furniture. One drawer does sinks low and prevents bottom drawer from closing, but that could be assembly error.

Very happy with the dresser and armoire. Purchased for the nursery 4 years ago. Unfortunately during our latest move, the dresser got damaged (worst movers ever). I reached out to Sauders and they generously send me replacement parts for the damaged cams. They also provided a copy of the instruction manual. Would definitely purchased from Sauder's again.

Love this dresser but heads up the edges are SO sharp, I wouldn’t recommend it for kids. I’ve cut my hand multiple times but love the look and if you have two people it’s easy to assemble

Large spacious dresser with very clear and easy instructions! I do wish the top was a little more real wood lookin, but over all it's quite nice. Will be a wonderful dresser for our baby's nursery.

This is a great-looking furniture set; assembling it wasn't too difficult. My husband and son completed the dresser and nightstand in one afternoon.

Sturdy and beautiful! We purchased two (we placed one to each side of our bed instead of a night table!) LOVE THEM!!

We have this in our sons room and it's been a fantastic dresser. Sturdy, the drawers open nicely, and I love the look of it! It did take a bit to build, but overall very happy with our purchase of this dresser!

Quality is great, drawers are larger than expected. Easy to assemble.

I bought this product and the matching bed side tables about a year ago, and the bed side table came without all the materials so I had to throw it out :(. I was trying to be optimistic about the dresser, and assembled the WHOLE thing except the two bottom drawers wont go in at all. Ive had numerous people try and they end up not allowing the drawers above to open, or they get stuck. So right now I have one bottom drawer in (which is broken due to how stuck it is) and no bottom drawer on the other side. So disappointing that I spent hundreds of dollars on this as a young adult (which took much of my pay check) and its not even usable.

Not too difficult to assemble and good material

I'm going to use it for kitchen storage. It was a little hard to assemble but in the end we received a sturdy piece of furniture.

Just finished putting my dresser together. The shelves line up and slide on their runners much better than most other buildable furniture I have dealt with is. Will defiantly use Sauder products again!

Matches the wardrobe perfectly and looks great!

We bought this for our bedroom along with the matching 4 drawer dresser and night stand. This is sturdy, well made furniture. It looks fantastic and I was really impressed with the quality. While it took several hours to put together, everything lined up and went together as expected. The directions were clear and gave me an occasional laugh. The parts were marked clearly, which made assembly easy. I would not hesitate to recommend this furniture to anyone.

We were extremely happy with the quality of this product. In many ways it is better quality than we have found in furniture stores! And to top it off - Made in America. We have owned several Sauder products over the years and never disappointed!

Love this dresser and how easy it was to assemble!

After unpacking everything and assembling down to the final steps (which were the six drawers), I found the two prefabricated holes in the center of the bottom of the dresser top that accept the vertical center post, to be off by over a quarter inch. . . . meaning the vertical space for the left three dresser drawers was too small to accommodate any drawers, and the vertical space for the right three drawers was too large to accommodate any drawers. It was only after four hours of assembly and in the final steps did we determine the defect. I tried to put a drawer in the side that was too small and boom, both anchors broke free from the top corner of the frame and right through the prefabricated wood. No thanks Sauder!. . . we will not be buying your brand again. I still have another few hours to invest in this mess to dissemble and take to the dumpster. . . a six-hour waste of my time.
