A: Percale should be crisp unless it has been brushed. I didn't find the answer provided by the Target staff very helpful. I'll order them and return if they are soft. At least they are 300-thread count.

A: These sheets are in between crisp and soft, not soft like microfiber but not as crisp as the best percale. I don't find them hot to sleep in, like microfiber or saleen.

A: These are very similar to the old shabby chic sheets. I have a few pairs of the old ones that I’ve had for years and years, and they are still amazing. I love the crispiness, I got the darker blue striped sheets washed them first, and they are awesome, they have elastic in the pockets this time, though to help them stay on your bed better

A: Yes, the pillowcases and sheets are King sized. I'm looking at them, and the pillowcase on my standard size pillow is too large, but it fits my King size pillow perfectly.
