After the pandemic I switched from Charmin to Cottonelle because Cottonelle was cheaper and seemed to be better quality. Charmin had started making their rolls smaller, raising prices, and their rolls were always covered in some sort of white residue. Cottonelle on the other hand didn't change the amount or quality but this most recent purchase was very disappointing. They changed the roll size; the cardboard roll is now much bigger (making the appearance of the same size as before but they have a lot less actual toilet paper. The quality is also more rough and not near as soft as my previous purchase. I still had some rolls left from my previous purchase and I can definitely see a very big difference. Now I will have to start searching for a better brand. I'm getting real tired of companies trying to pass off lower quality and quantity while still charging the same amount (sometimes higher amount). Very disheartening.

I completely agree with the reviewer from Dec. 17th. This product used to be great and is terrible now! It tears apart easily and leaves a mess. I’ll never purchase this again. Why change something great?!

Thick and absorbent. Soft enough that it doesn't irritate skin when wiping but not particularly plushy. Has lines as texture to clean effectively after bowel movement. Keeps my fingers dry when using. Fragrance-free. Rolls are larger than normal and, since I can use less sheets, they last a decent amount of time. Easy to detach via perforation line and doesn't leave behind lint. Good value.

I have never felt so compelled to write a review about toilet paper.....but the review is so earned. My husband accidentally bought the other brand and quickly realized he made the mistake after using the product a few times. It was awful. It tore apart so quickly and was just terrible. We didn't even finish the rolls.....we needed our Cottonelle back!! Thank you for providing such a wonderful product!!

This product was changed in the past few months of 2024. It used to be strong and reliable. I read that the company was looking to remove natural forest fibers from their products. Well, they removed thickness and strength. It tears very easily when using so I have to use a lot more each time to make up for it. Whoch probably negates some of their environmental intent. Will finish up the package I just bought but won't be buying again!
