COVERGIRL Clean Invisible Concealer - 0.23 fl oz

Why did you change?! I have been using this product in for 20 years and the new version is not the same! I will now have to find a new brand. Very disappointing.

I am highly disappointed with this newer product when the last one was wonderful which served me well over the past 20-30 years. It was recommended to purchase 101 porcelain to replace fair clar as it’s not found in stores, only on line. I ordered one and am returning it. It is such an ugly ash pale in the bottle and not the same. It simply is awful to have discontinued a product that so many used and saying should be brought back. Please listen to your once faithful customer base.

I have used this product for well over 30 years. I thought I was losing my mind because I couldn't find Fair Clair, even online. So I bought the 2 I thought were closest to it. To say I'm absolutely disappointed is an understatement, so I came here to see everything has been changed. It sucks because when you find something that works and blends with your body, you stick with it. Who wants to spend so much time and money trying to find something new when you had something perfect to begin with?

I simply can't fathom why on earth they would try to "improve" upon something that didn't need it- whatsoever. The only single and consistent make-up item I've used since age 14, has been Covergirl Clean Invisible Concealer in Light Pale...... I'm now 51 so that's 37 years. I literally have relied on its magic ability to erase dark circles and miraculously hide imperfections, every single day, without fail. I LOVED the stuff and had so much appreciation for what it did to help my appearance in 5 quick seconds a day. I suddendly ran out and found out my teen daughter had recently discovered the wonders of my concealer and apparently figured I wouldn't care if she used it up- which I did.... I immediately went to buy a few more since I always keep one stashed in my car, at work & at home, so Id buy several at a time so I'd never be without. To my horror, the familiar looking tube I rely on daily was no where to be found, so I decided to try the apparent replacement. I knew I was was going to be let down again, when I realized my impossibly perfect shade of Light Pale, was not even carried over to the (not-so) "improved" formula. I bought the closest match anyway, what do know- it horrible and not even close to the older one. It's really a bummer because I've made countless attempts at finding a higher end or better performing concealer, and it imply doesn't exist. I've tried tons of different brands at every price point, but have always returned to my trusted Covergirl in Light Pale: alwsys easy ro find in any town across America, completely affordable , and always performed perfectly as expected. I've always really appreciated Covergirl for not messing with a good thing that people already loved, like so many other brands do and then always screw it up.. Unfortunately, here we are and it finally happened.....and it looks like I'm not the only one disappointed or upset about this. I'll continue my quest to find a concealer as perfect and reliable as my old Light Pale Covergirl was.

Agree with previous low ratings- this is not a good replacement for the Invisible Concealer Fair. the coverage is not good. I've used the previous version for probably 20 years. ugh, Now I have to search for a replacement.

I can’t find a replacement for the 115 fair. It looks like they discontinued and the “new” product isn’t the same. They don’t even offer the same colors.

I have always used Covergirl Clean Invisible Concealer - medium. I thought I was going crazy because I couldn’t find the medium shade anymore. I tried to match with a different shade and not only didn’t it match but the formula is different and it’s terrible. I can’t understand why you would change your product AND the shade when the original was great. Shame on Covergirl Corp for making this change. Now I can’t find anything that was as good as the original. Bad decision on your part!

A few months ago I noticed a change in the Covergirl Clean Invisible Concealer product. I have been using this product in the Medium shade for at least 10 years, it was a wonderful product. I was confused by all the colour choices with the Concealer product. I don't understand the decision to go from 5 shades to 12 shades, most companies reduce inventory instead of increasing it. I was able to find two unused Invisible Concealer products in Medium online but paid double what it was when I purchased it at a local drug store. After reading the reviews about how different and horrible the new Clean Invisible Concealer is, it appears as it I will not be buying it in the future. I will have to find another concealer. If you were going to make such a drastic change to the formula and shades, you should have renamed the new product instead of confusing the situation by keeping the name, reducing the product amount per cylinder, and changing the formula/ingredients. You have lost many good, long-term customers because of these decisions.

The issues with the new formula have all been brought up and I have to agree. If you feel the need to change the colors why wouldn't you make it very clear which old ones translate to the new? I used medium and am trying to figure out what to use. Also, now it is thick and cakes just like everyone else's that I hate. It was truly invisible and gave great coverage. Now it doesn't blend and looks terrible. makes me look older!

I have been using COVERGIRL Clean Invisible Lightweight Concealer, Medium color, for years and I can't believe you guys have decided to discontinue this color!! Like who was the brains behind this decision?? Whoever it is, they should be fired! If I could, I would give you zero stars. And reading the reviews, I see that I'm not the only one upset with the Company's decision of these changes. But at the end of the day, it is what it is. Goodbye, Covergirl! So disappointed that Cover Girl changed their products. Clearly you have many customers who are not happy about this switch. I have tried to match the current tones to medium and have had no luck. I have used Cover Girl since I was a teen and I am not in my mid 40s. I have decided to switch my make up products to another company and my daughters have done the same.

I have been buying the clean invisible concealer in "light pale" for decades and have been VERY happy. Now I see it has been discontinued for a new "better" item. I am struggling to find my shade. I have chosen one that is very yellow and one that is VERY pale. None of them are called light pale. Also, the new improved ones give you much less product at .23 where the ones before held .32. I guess the only one this new one is better for is company greed. I know that companies think we don't notice but we do. Most just go elsewhere as I will do but I also like to review so you will know why.

picture is veryyy misleading. the color i got was way darker than the picture. i guess i should've expected this for ordering concealer online but still

I agree with the others. I went to get my usual medium and I see a rainbow of beige. How do I know which one is me? Bring back the old, it worked and was much easier to navigate!

I was looking to try a new concealer and when this one says "invisible", it means it. If I wanted any sort of coverage at all I had to apply at least two layers which led to the already cakey formula looking like chalk on my face. The formula is extremely watery and I will not be buying again.

I 100% concur with the previous reviewer. Please bring back the old formula! I have used it for decades. The new version doesn't even have an option for "Fair", it doesn't blend and is irritating to my skin. I am shopping other brands at this time. Very disappointing.

I love Cover Girl makeup and have used it for years. Your clean invisible lightweight concealer (fair tone) has been my go to concealer/foundation for years. It blends beautifully with my skin and leaves my face looking flawless. I am 55 and get comments regularly on the clarity of my skin. I even have people ask me from time to time what makeup I use beause it looks so pretty. All that to say, I am not a fan of your new formula. It does not blend, and it does not conceal. It also feel a little grainy and dry when applying - not smooth and soft. I have tried to buy up every tube of my "old" favorite I can find and am disappointed that I now need to find something new. Please go back to the tried and true that everyone loves!
