Great filter system with choices of several types of filters to fit your needs. The calculated approximate life span was quite accurate. Just put it on my calendar and subscription to the filters makes it all so easy to have clean air.

Coway filters fit perfectly to the unit, as one would expect. I got to compare them with some made by third parties and I can say there are significant differences in materials and precisions - the Coway are the only ones I will be buying in the future. There is on reason to compromise on filter quality when you run an air purifier to keep your air clean.

Pollen season has kicked in and I am pleased so far with this air purifier. Specific filters for allergens is a plus. We have noticed a definite improvement in the air quality.

I love my Conway. The air in my house is so much cleaner. I can really tell it’s working because when I blow out a candle, the light turns bright red and the unit gets very loud for a few seconds as it cleans the candle smoke from the air. Afterwards, the light reverts to blue and I know the air is smoke free.

I received this item -- an Airmega 200M & AP-1512HH Filter Set -- today. I found that the user manual for the air purifier itself (Coway Air Purifier AP-1518R) utterly failed to show how to install replacement filters (those I just received). In particular, I searched and re-searched the pdf file for the user manual for "filter replacement" and found essentially nothing helpful. Only when I accidentally ran across the "BEFORE USE" section in the manual did I find part of what I needed. But that is not all. The manual failed to state what I discovered the hard way: the so-called "Deodorization filter" is embedded in the so-called "Pre-filter"; one must remove the former from the latter to see how to proceed. But that is still not all. My original Coway Air Purifier AP-1518R came with a single-layer "Deodorization filter", whereas the replacement filter set I received today contained *two* -- two layers of "Deodorization filter". I can find no hint anywhere as to whether I am to cram both layers of "Deodorization filter" into the "Pre-filter" or just use one and regard the other as a freebee. Finally, I hope someone from Coway will read and actually respond to this review.

The filter has a strong chemical smell rendering it useless. The smell has not dissipated over time. I will have to find a different brand of air cleaner other than Coway. Such a disappointment and waste of money.

We recently had remodeling done, and the amount of dust was unbelievable. I took the prefilter and black filter outside to brush/vacuum them every day or two, and I was amazed at the amount of junk they were catching! The house was still dustier than usual, but I cannot imagine what it would have been like without our two Airmegas running!
