Q: kid dropped glitter on floor and now its all over house, leather sofa etc, tried vaccum cloth soap. doesn't come out. I'm wondering if it needs to settle first, caue it's in air. What if I leave it?

A: Hello! Try using a lint roller for hard surfaces and a soft brush for fabric. A damp cloth can also help gather airborne glitter.

18 out of 27 slimes are overactivated to the point of being rubber, and the ones that aren't completely rubber are still overactivated and don't respond to any means of softening, so also completely unusable.

We got this for half off so it was worth the price.. It was fun to unbox and came with a lot of stuff. The disappointing parts were that 2 of the slimes had some hardening and they were all the same texture. I still think it was worth what we paid.

Love this! Kids got it for Christmas. There are two things I wish I knew. Definitely throw away the shimmer, it’s not the standard type glitter- it’s tiny shimmer and we were breathing it in, coughing. It floats in the air. Not good! Also the snow should be thrown away in my opinion. It makes the slime seize up, instantly dries it up and doesn’t stretch. We had to throw away four of them because of the snow but there are a ton more so it’s worth it.

Do not buy this unless you want glitter/shimmer ALL over your house and in the air. This product is HORRIBLE. It’s all over my counters, chairs, the WALLS, my plants, dishes inside of CLOSED cabinets. It’s so scary. I had to throw away the tablecloth. It’s literally EVERYWHERE. Even in the rooms we don’t use it in. You’re definitely breathing this into your lungs and eating it. It was all over our clothes are hair. 2 showers didn’t even get it all out. This is extremely concerning.

This set is awesome and has so much slime! I like that the slime is ready to mix and doesn’t have to be made first. The texture is perfect in my opinion, not too sticky or runny. Just let it warm up in your hand for about 30 seconds and it will ooze like it did in my photo. My 2 7-year-olds each received a set for Christmas and are having so much fun mixing up their own slimes. They love the mix-ins and scents. There are plenty of containers to store their creations. They keep saying “this was such a great gift!”

DO NOT BUY!!!! Whatever dye is in the red and pink slimes stained my quartz countertops pink after 2 minutes. Luckily, I was able to get it out with a baking soda paste and an hour and a half of my time. More concerning is what it’s doing to your child’s skin if it’s able to soak into quartz that fast.

Huge disappointment Christmas morning for my daughter. Like previous reviews said, all containers came hardened with a separated fluid inside. We couldn’t mix anything up, and texture was similar to rubber.

My 8 and 10 year old had so much fun with this. So much to make with all the mix-ins and I love that it includes little mixing containers. But the glitter shimmer is AWFUL. I hate glitter, in general, because of how it gets everywhere but this is a whole new level of invasive shimmer. After my kids opened it I seriously thought I was having a stroke--the air was sparkling. It was actually scary. Then my partner said he could see it too. It's a very fine powdery glitter and it got absolutely everywhere and doesn't wash off easily. I'm sure we're all breathing it in and will likely have a little glitter with our dinner. This is my only gripe. The glitter had got to go. I wish I had seen it and tossed it before my kids ripped into it.

My 6.5 and 3.5 year old loves this kit! The mom in me loves the texture of these slimes. They’re not running, gooey, or messy at all. Doesn’t stick to your hands or make a mess. Some of the mix ins do stick around like the glitter/shimmer ones but that’s totally doable. They all have their own container with lids which is great for storage. The box comes with a lot of mix ins. Very good quality and you get A LOT with this box. My dislike is that the box advertises pictures of rainbows, tie dyes, etc. but making those slimes is unrealistic. The end result just makes grey slime. My kids kept wanting to make the “cool multi color” ones but in reality they were only colorful and fun for a few short minutes until turning grey (which is understandable) but I just don’t like how the box itself shows so many rainbow options.
Needs to add activator.

The slime box is a great idea, just poorly executed. They needed to add a slime activator because we opened the slimes and none of them were slimy or melty as the box indicates. They all were tough, had not stretch, and broke apart. The kids were disappointed and tried to play with them still, but did not entertain them after 5 mins.

There’s a ton of different slime in the kit for the price. It’s just not worth it. They don’t mix well. They break apart instead of being able to hold it up and watch it slowly drip down. This brand sells a 4 pack (each one different) of large slime in a bucket. Now that slime is worth it. It’s what you’d expect from slime.
