We got the scribble scribbie snow explorer but the markers did not come with it. Is that the way the toy is made?

Adorable Arctic critters that can be colored over and over. Just be sure to only color the critters when dry, otherwise the markers tend to stain. My child was disappointed that the tracks on the snowcat vehicle don’t actually roll.

The color changing tubs are a really nice touch. There were two things I didn’t really understand: it comes with these two orange pieces that attaches to the inside of the door. I guess it’s to hold the animals? I don’t really get it, and my kids can’t attach it themselves. I also wish the wheels underneath were a little higher or that the caterpillar tracks worked. The snow explorer doesn’t move as smoothly as I hoped. But my kids have absolutely loved it, and that’s great for me! Note: I received free product from Crayola in exchange for an honest review.

We have a bunch of scribble animals so they loved that they got 3 new ones and a cool vehicle to put them in. I liked how there are holders for the markers. The sleds that you put the animals on and make them slide down the ramp does not work that well but the kids didn’t seem to mind. They each used one of the baths and was able to wash there scribble. The baths are not that big and water did keep on coming out as they were playing. Overall they played with the vehicle for a while and would get their other scribbles to put inside the vehicle as well.

This is an amazing addition to her already large collection. She was extremely excited when she realized the pets changed color when in cold water. The only thing I could say is I wish the color changing was a little more noticeable. Other than that these are the same great quality as expected!

My 5 year old daughter really enjoyed this new winter theme for Scribble Scrubbie Pets. The minute we had everything out of the box, she was coloring away. She figured out the sleds quickly as well and enjoyed sliding them around with the big plow. Like other Scribble Scrubbies we have, these are very easy for her to clean off with water and the included brush/tubs and start over. Her favorite parts are the new cool blue animals. She would recommend it for other kids her age!

She has so many at this point that she could open her own zoo. We love this product how it comes with more than one tub to hold warm and cold water. The color changing pets adds an awesome twist to a product we already have and love. We would love to see more pets with unique features like this. (Please note that we have more scribble scrubbies in the photo than came with the product. We also love how the markers have such a cute holder.

He never had a scribble buddy and he loved coloring on his toy and make it drive the snow mobile. He wanted to understand more about a snowmobile and we had to look it up so he could see how they work. He wanted it to snow so he could play with it in the snow. He loves all the animals and just wished they each had their own brush. He now wants to add more guys to the vehicle. Thank you for this opportunity to try this. It would make a great gift and the packaging was very appeasing to the eye. He looked at the box for awhile.

My 3 and 5 year olds have shown this toy lots of attention for a week straight. The toy is made of quality plastic, that doesn’t seem about to break, and my younger son can open and close all the parts just fine. It’s been dropped and banged around, and it’s good as new. The scrubbies themselves change color in the freezer for a few minutes, and I was surprised to see they STAY changed until they get rinsed with warm water. How cool! The toy doesn’t come with tons of small pieces- just enough to easily fit back into the vehicle. The only negative is the way they have the markers attach inside the vehicle. I took the markers away once the scribble scrubbies were colored, and we don’t plan on storing the markers in the vehicle.

My son is 3 years old and highly into art-making and cars, so I thought this would be a really great product for him! He was thrilled upon just seeing the item in the colorful packaging and couldn't wait to open it. The amount of markers received is generous and all of the colors are fun and unique - not your typical primary and secondary colors, which is refreshing! The vehicle itself is pretty sturdy and easy to open, which was nice for my son as I thought I would have to assist him. The orange "sleds" were a question mark at first. We didn't realize what they were for, but soon figured it out. The first frustrating moment my son has was trying to secure the animals into the sleds. I showed him how to to it and he eventually was able to do it himself. Honestly, I would love to see some reduction in plastic in this set (there is a lot of it!) and have the sleds omitted as they didn't really add to the playability of this set. The truck ramp that is supposed to be used for the sleds is short and the animals fall over during their journey. My son gave up and moved on from this feature pretty quickly. The two water baths are, once again, sturdy, but shallow. This requires VERY frequent changes of the hot water as it gets too cool quickly and no longer works for turning the animals back to white. Despite me running back and forth to the sink, this was my son's very favorite feature of the product! He kept moving the animals from cold to hot over and over and over again - he couldn't get enough of the magic! In my opinion, if Crayola could find a way to make colorful patterns appear instead of just solid blue, it would be an amazing product and the markers wouldn't even need to be included! My son didn't even want to use to the markers like he does with his other Scribble Scrubbie buddies. The color-changing animals was a very nice and surprising change for his entertainment. He ended up using the markers, but only for a short while. The other major frustration, (though it COULD be very helpful) are the clips inside the snow plow, which the markers are supposed to attach to for storage. The clips are too short, which causes the markers to pop right out when the doors to the vehicle are closed. My son was getting irritated and eventually gave up and threw them inside the truck instead. My son enjoyed the truck itself while he took his animals on adventures, but he was confused as to why the wheels didn't move. It would be nice if the wheels moved, but I understand that would be a complicated and expensive feat given the fact that it's supposed to be a snow plow on rubber grip tracks. It's a small complaints but for a kid who likes their cars, trucks, and construction vehicles, it quickly gets noticed! Overall, a successful product, which I know my son will continue to use for a while. Yes, it has some fallbacks, but perhaps not enough to overlook buying this product for a child for a holiday or birthday gift.

We were already big fans of scrubbies before we received this snowmobile and have quite a collection! My five year old loved the fact that the scrubbies included change color! The penguin was her favorite. The snowmobile really rolls and I liked the built in marker storage. It is also big enough to store the three scrubbies included.

This new Arctic explorer takes it to a new level. The color changing is awesome! We added “icebergs” to our cold tub and the animals had fun trying to balance on it! It was great to play outside as we have to watch with water play inside. My only cons: staining and there is never a place to store the brush and it always gets lost. We follow all the rules and use the right markers but ours never get back to white. And the brush was lost the first time playing, so we just used our trusty toothbrush that we have replaced the little brush with

The snow mobile is big enough to carry all the scrubbies she has collected so far on her visits to the crayola experience in PA. Overall a great product for toddlers. This comes with 6 color pens and that is more than enough to keep the little one engaged for a while. A good option as as a gift.

She loved that she could color them over and over again. She did not understand the snow element of the plow. She kept calling it a bus. She thinks it's the bus from the zoo. She did not know what to do with the square boxes that came with it. She thinks it is their beds on the zoo bus. The changing of the animals color was a fun twist on the normal scribble scrubbies. The snow explorer is good quality and my boys (7 and 5) enjoyed playing with it with the scribble scrubbies and on its own as a regular vehicle. They like that it's big enough to carry lots of the scribble scrubbies (even more than the 3 that came with it). Came with plenty of markers to use. Only downside is the instructions say to to place in warm water to turn white, but then you must wait for it to dry before coloring it. So if my boys wanted them to be white we would have to warm them up then wait for them to dry before use.

Well now the kids are even more amazed and entertained with these color changing scrubbies. They love to color them and scrub them in the tubs but it's even better because the change back to blue in cold water. My 3 and 5 year old will sit and play with these scrubbies for a long time. I do love that the snow plow has marker storage that is so convenient.
