This craft set comes with everything needed to make 18 pieces of shrink art — there's four sheets of cute images like donuts, unicorns and sloths, eight markers and three colors of string. Simply use the markers to color in the shrink art images, cut them out and bake in the oven (with adult supervision!) to create, then use the string to tie on zipper pulls or hang throughout your home.

A: Hello KB - Thanks for contacting us. Please see the instructions for the Create-Your-Own Shrink Art Kit - Mondo Llama™ attached as a PDF file. Here is the most important information: 1. Protect the table or work surface you are working on to avoid marker stains. 2. Remove pre-diecut shrink arts from the plastic films. 3. Use the included markers to color on the ROUGH side of the shrink arts. Do not use non-permanent markers, crayons, waxy colored pencils or oil paints. 4. Place your colored shrink arts on cookie sheet spread with non-stick aluminum foil. Make sure the rough sides are faced up. Be sure to remove all punched holes on shrink arts before baking. 5. Preheat oven to 325°F (162 °C). Bake for 1-3 minutes, shrink arts will curl up while shrinking and then flatten out. After flattening, wait for another 30 seconds, and then have an adult to remove the cookie sheet from the oven. If you find any shrink art is not being flattened enough, you can pick it out from the cookie sheet and place it on the table, and then use oven mitt or dish cloth to press shrink art flatter. 6. Wait for at least 5 minutes for your creations to cool off. 7. Cut embroidery threads to desired length and thread through the holes to create charms or decorations. Have fun! - Cheryl

The first time we tried it they curled up and didn’t flatten out, but I took them out after just about 1 minute. The second time I left them in for 3 minutes, which worked, they finally flattened out.

This art kit is the coolest! Both my 2 and 5 year old daughters love it. It’s awesome that they can paint a larger shape and then it’ll shrink and turn in a tiny little thing they maybe wouldn’t have the motor skill to paint in yet. It can turn into a pendant, keychain, Christmas ornament… so many things! I’ve bought as a gift a lot of times too.
