This 10.5 x 15.25" tabletop sketch box has a small painting easel section built into the lid that may be adjusted flat for watercolor paining, at a slight angle for drawing, at a vertical position for oil and acrylic painting and slightly forward for pastel painting. Use any size canvas or paper pad up to 25.5" high. This portable easel includes a 5-section storage compartment for organizing a full assortment of artist gear. ordered this for our budding artist and it arrived like this. Covered with powdery yellowish spots, and when they were brushed off it left white spots. The inside of the box had oil or grease stains on it, so it has to be from some chemical they used to finish it.
