It really wasnt that messy at all, as long as you have something underneath if you put too much paint, but it was sooo much fun! I like that they had a few templates to choose from and then a bunch of blank papers, but it deff would have been better if they had more than just 3 templates to do! it does have stickers to decorate the blabk pages after you do the color, so i would say that kinda makes up for the little amt of templates to color! But overall, my daughter and i had a blast getting doing this arts & crafts activity together!

They loved how they turned out and that they got to pick different colors and make it their own. It was such a fun and easy activity and now we have the practice pages and stickers we can use to keep the fun going!

The kit contains everything you need to create magic reveal art by simply adding little dots of paint on the top of the paper then sliding the squeegee tool down the paper to blend the colors together and reveal the hidden image designs! The kit comes with the hidden image designs paper and also extra practice paper as well. My 8yr old son and I had so much fun painting beautiful abstract artwork!! He was so proud of himself!! I highly recommend this kit to anyone looking for a fun and creative way to paint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter really enjoyed painting with the magic art. It is messy so be sure to lay down newspaper or something. I’d suggest parental guidance with applying dots of paint, as even our smallest dots got everywhere when using the squeege tool down the magic reveal paper. We had to drag down then back up again to cover the design well and some of the colors mixed and were ugly in the process. Some turned out great. There’s a lot of trial and error to get a good one in our case and she got upset when it didn’t always turn out right but she had fun with it. The paint does wash off surfaces easily luckily which was a plus.

We do indicate to wear old clothing or a smock, and to cover your work surface and instruct to pull the squeegee a few times to fully cover the surface. It looks like you had beautiful results - thank you for sharing your child's artwork!

Her only complaint was that it only came with 4 embossed butterfly sheets. Also the tubes of paint were rather small. It did come with extra paper and the directions were easy to follow.

My 7 year old loved it! she was able to create a beautiful pattern of colors that outlined a beautiful butterfly picture. This set also included some gold stickers and additional butterfly designs. As well as paint and a squeegee. I thought this was a very fun way to interact with my daughter. I loved it as much as she did, The only downside to it was the paint was a little messy but nothing some newspaper couldn’t handle. All in all we loved allowing our creative side to spark and coming up with some cute designs. Thanks Influenster and Squeegeez for sending this in exchange for our honest review!
