A dozen of the sticks were defective

The colors are vibrant and the 100 pack a good value, but at least a dozen of the sticks were defective eg cracked, splotchy, warped. Depending on your intended use/project, this may not be a big deal; but for >10% of the sticks to be flawed is disappointing.
