--Midwest Book ReviewAbout the Author
Marcie Driessen is a chronically ill artist from the Netherlands. She grew up in a small village in the woods where she spent most of her time reading and drawing, or on her good days, exploring the forest and marsh near her house. When creating art, she finds inspiration in the things that bring her joy, including the little creatures she visited in the marsh. Most often she works with traditional art supplies of pencils, pens, ink, watercolor paints, and markers. In 2018, she started her Instagram account (@marcies_art), and a year later, she opened her Etsy shop (@MarciesArtPlace) where she sells stickers, art prints, and mystery bags. Marcie's Art is now her brand that allows her to show her art to the world. She also loves to hike and play board games.
