Q&A(20)

Q: Which Crest product has the highest (14%) level of hydrogen peroxide?

submitted by TaggerSTL - 3 years ago
  • A: Some gels have up to 44%. Unfortunately, Crest/P&G does not seem to think it necessary for the consumer to have such information for their Whitestrips.

submitted byBig Ben - 3 years ago
  • A: Our Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips are tied among the highest hydrogen peroxide level Whitestrips that we have.

  • A: Level 12 response says 14% so I think these are the same since they won't awnser you here but comes with a $2 light for the additional increased price to the level 12s. I bought once and reuse the light with the target brand 20day strips. Works fine. Crests will tell you the light is only good for 1 box but this only so you buy it agian. Mine has been working for 6 months.

Q: I got the kit with 19 treatments, so 38 strips total. Am I supposed to use these for 19 days in a row? That seems like a lot and there were no instructions inside the box.

submitted by How many days in a row - 3 years ago
  • A: Yes, you can use the Whitestrips treatments 19 days in a row.

  • A: No. Instructions were in the box. I'm here online to find out how many treatments per day. Once/day.

submitted bySR - 1 year ago

Q: How many boxes can you use per year? Also, is it possible to use half of the treatments if desired results are achieved and use the rest later if needed be?

submitted by Joshua - 7 months ago
  • A: We recommend you use no more than 1-2 Whitestrip kits per year. With whitening results lasting 6 months or more, most people would have at least 6 -12 months between full kit treatments. Another way of using would be to use one kit over consecutive days, and then use the strips from a 2nd kit once a month to maintain your whitest smile!

Q: hello, is it safe to use if I 🤱🏻 breastfeed? thank you!

submitted by Breastfeeding - 2 years ago
  • A: The amount of hydrogen peroxide you might swallow while using Whitestrips is extremely small, and we would not expect this to be harmful if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. However, we recommend you check with your doctor.

Q: Should this be done before or after I brush my teeth at night?

submitted by Bonilla - 2 years ago
  • A: Thanks for asking. We don't recommend brushing immediately before applying the Whitestrips, though you can brush after using them.

submitted by Anonymous - 3 years ago
  • A: Hello! The Crest 3D Whitestrips Professional White with Hydrogen Peroxide + LED Light Teeth Whitening Kit has Hydrogen Peroxide which dentists also use to whiten teeth. We hope this helps!

Q: Does it hurt for people with sensitive teeth? I've used another one aside from the Gentle Routine, and I remember it made my teeth hurt a lot. But Gentle Routine doesn't work as well as I'd like it to.

submitted by ScarletWitch - 3 years ago
  • A: Because sensitivities will vary, we recommend using our Gentle Routine Whitestrips as it's for those with sensitive teeth. With the many quality and safety checks they go through, our Gentle Routine Whitestrips should give you great results and a great experience. However, if you have stubborn stains you may need to use a second box to achieve the results you want. We'd love to learn more, kindly call us at (800) 448-6200.

Q: Am I supposed to use these everyday? There was no package insert.

submitted by rae - 4 years ago
  • A: The Crest 3D Whitestrips Professional White with Light are designed to be used once daily for 60 minutes total. After 55 minutes, place the light against the strips for 5 minutes (the light will turn off after 5 minutes). Each kit should come with instructions, however, and we’d like to learn more about what happened so we can share your experience with our Quality Assurance Team. Please give us a call at (800) 395-8423.
