It doesn’t change color. Once you start brushing, it’s just a white foam. It’s also on the spicier side for kids toothpaste so my son hates it. I will not purchase this again.

Turns blue to pink in a few seconds of brushing. I like the idea, but it didn't really increase brushing time for us personally. It did however, give a little motivation for our toddler to practice brushing by himself which I consider a win!

We were so excited to try this toothpaste out. The claims the co makes about this toothpaste is false. The color changing happens in less than 1 min so kiddos aren't necessarily brushing for longer. The product is cute, cute packaging but very gimmicky. Your better off using the disney magic timer app or the Philips kids app with the Sparkly in it to help kiddos learn how to brush their teeth & brush longer. So far the apps have worked out so much better than the toothpaste.

The amount of time needed to activate the color-changing experience can vary based on factors unique to each individual brusher, such as the strength of brushing or type of toothbrush used i.e., manual vs. power. Target does not send you 4 tubes. They send you only 2. Then when you try to get this fixed, they say they’ll send you a replacement order, but it’s still not 4, only 2. (I’m not complaining I didn’t get extra…happy to at least got what I paid for. Just informing anyone who actually tries to order this that what is sent is never correct.)

Too slimy. Toothpaste squirts out super easily. It’s not great to let kids handle it because they will waste so much toothpaste unintentionally. Too much on their toothbrush, too much on the sink, too much on the counter. The color change is fun but not worth the extra cost for paste that gets wasted. I’ll need to buy a new tube for the kids soon.

For one star is not because the product not as good, it’s because Target website showing $4.69/2pack, but after I received that only 1 item and the purchase history showing is $3.99/1pack, that’s very dishonest. Very disappointing. Of course I didn’t take the picture that before I purchased it is showing a price for 2/pack.

Does not turn colors as advertised. Fun packaging and cool concept but no different than any other kid’s toothpaste. Also goes from blue to white suds in 2 sec so could actually make your kids brush less time than normal by thinking they’re done. Costs more for nothing.

Don’t buy unless you want pink in your sink. The toothpaste seems fine but the color changing properties leaves pink in your sink so it always looks dirty.
