I bought this a few months ago and I haven’t used it in a while and it won’t turn on and all you hear is a faint heart beat like noise and this is the second one I’ve had the same brand and the same thing has happened twice.

Your turntable has a one year warranty and our customer service agents are happy to help you troubleshoot even when it isn't in warranty. It sounds like the unit had a power surge of some kind. Sometimes this is caused by hooking up the wrong adapter and sometimes there's an issue with the plug it's plugged up to. Either way, the smoking is caused by the capacitors internally going out because they got too much power. This prevents a fire. This product is so great! I own a slate-colored one, which has been holding up beautifully since I got it! It's small, portable, and has great sound quality when playing vinyl without headphones. There are so many color options, and while some are worse than others, most are great! At first, it was too big to fit in my shelving unit, but then I unscrewed the base stands from the bottom and it fit perfectly. This is genuinely a great product, highly recommend.

Bought one of these last minute. had it for a little over two years, used it about every other month and over time really had no problems because sound quality slightly deteriorating. Most recently when I went to plug it in, it started smoking out the top! Please be careful! I still got a good two years and some change out of it, just please be mindful from time to time. For the price I got what I paid for all in all.

I have only had it for a month do I don’t know about how it will hold up over time. But right know it’s great. I thought the speakers wouldn’t be very good (granted I don’t make it super super loud) but the sound quality is good!

i bought one of these almost a year ago and literally only got to use it a few times before it just never worked right again. the turntable makes a horrible buzzing sound even when there is no record playing, and the sound will play but it is very low and distorted. you can’t even hear the music and no matter how far i turn it up, it just never gets louder. really disappointed honestly, they’re so cute and have such a nice design. i reached out trying to get a replacement and never got a reply. :(

I had been given a gift via my sister, which was a crossley record player almost a year ago, I've used it at least 4 times about 4 months ago, and I decided It would be a good idea to use it again, I haven't touched it for a few months and it isn't working. I tried using a different outlet, the red light will not appear yet I hear a weird click when I move the on/off knob around, yet nothing works!!! This cost a lot of money... she bought it inside a HMV shop so I am unsure what to do about it. Its in amazing condition as I treasure it, but it isn't working! I'm distraught, if u could send video footage via email if that would help then I am very capable of doing so. I know these record players aren't built to last a lifetime but it hasn't even lasted a year yet, we have no warranty or anything on it as it was not offered to my sister during purchasing. Please let me know what I should do next. I'm so disappointed!!! How do I fix this?!?!?!?!!?!?

The first time my granddaughter used it the needle broke. The needle was very cheap and they said there was a replacement needle, but there was no needle in it. We are now in the process of trying to get a needle for the record player.

This is not a record player. This is a toy that eats your money and spits out sound that has a quality just as good as the dirt on the bottom of your shoe. Terrible build quality, terrible sound, and terrible for any vinyls you may buy and play on it.

I am now an avid vinyl record enthusiast and this was my first ever record player. I can now look back and say this record player was horrible quality, awful design, and absolutely horrible for your records. The table doesn’t fully support the record so it wobbles as it spins, the needle is extremely difficult to replace (the product is not made to last long), the speakers don’t handle any louder music and will produce a whining sound if the volume is turned up to high, and the pitch dial is an absolutely useless piece that simply takes up space on the record player. The price is not worth destroying your timeless records with the already dulled needle, at least wait to be able to afford anything better than this.

We do recognize that the Cruiser Plus is an intro/beginner product, and we do recommend upgrading to one of our higher end turntables once you become an avid listener. However, it is a great product for those who are just getting into the hobby! As an avid fan, we could recommend our C72, C62, or our C100 as a great model for you!

Bought a few years ago and it sounded great during the first few listen. Then it started to slow down even though the records are new. The sound undulate like if the records were stretched. I thought the bluetooth also let you hear whatever record you have on. I wanted to play my record not listen to music through the turntable.
