Q: Do you have to have a box spring? We have a lucid mattress on top of a tall platform bed frame. Will that work?

Love the look of this headboard - also found it on a popular online home furniture site but like the ability to return to the store which is why I ordered from Target. It was easy to assemble BUT one of the ends got bent in shipping and needed to be bent back in order to assemble...which was a bit difficult. If the manufacturer padded the corners of the box better, this wouldn’t be an issue.
