Crown Shades Top Instant Pop Up Canopy w/Carry Bag

I got this for less than $70, which was a great deal. Seems well made and it's heavy when all packed up in the backpack. I was able to easily set it up *by myself* the first time out of the package without any trouble.

It was so easy to put up. My other tent was very difficult. I am so happy with this one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this 10x10 crown shade pop up canopy a few weeks ago and installed it as soon as we got it over out pool to help shade it for our kids. It fit perfectly over half our pool. Steaked them down into the ground and the seemed pretty sturdy. Even with our 4 dogs running laps around the pool and canopy. It even held down with a decent storm until September 8th when it was crushed by a fallen tree. We are definitely getting a new one when we purchase a new pool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time using this is the hardest because you have to put on the canvas top. So do that BEFORE you adjust the height of the legs so you can easily reach it. Also, you really have to have two people to put this tent up. Other than that, it's easy to put up and close down. Instructions are attached to the outside of the zippered case the tent is folded into. It's easy to understand, and they also provide a list of parts. I'm guessing in case you have to order any replacements in the future. Basically, two people are needed because the even pulling-at-the-same-time on opening the framework is needed. Once it's fully opened, then you need to adjust the legs. And it's much easier to do that if two people each do one leg on the same side at the same time. One person can do it, but it's awkward. Once the height is where you want it, you simple go under the canopy and push up in the center, and voila, your canopy is up and ready for use! Taking it down you just do the same things but in reverse. This time you do not have to remove the canvas canopy. It will just fold with the unit. Once folded it fits back into its carrying case--compact and ready to go. Only thing is, it's heavy! Not easy for a small or weak person to carry, or someone with a bad back. It does not have wheels, and does not roll around for easy transport.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've previously owned numerous pop-up shades for camping and festival purposes, but this Crown shade is by far the sturdiest. The metal stand is rigid, and the articulated feet are very helpful on uneven ground, which is something my other pop-up shades did not have. However, the downside of being sturdy is that this shade is incredibly heavy, and 36lbs is awkward for anyone to carry. The other thing I absolutely hate is that the canopy does not come pre-installed on the frame, which means yet another thing you have to fight with when you are already overwhelmed with setup duties. And as for the "instant up" feature? Well, it really depends on whether you are having to manage setup by yourself, versus with another set of hands. Having a helper reduces some of the frustration, but it's still far from instant, and if you have to do everything yourself, it'll be at least 15-20 minutes from the time you first open the carrying bag to setup being complete.

It's the right size, the material that is made out of a great, very sturdy, easy up, easy. D***, you could take it anywhere. And I'm so happy that I got a chance to try it. The only issue I had was putting it back in the carrying bag which was more my ability than the product. I’m happy with my purchase!

We ordered this as must have bright white cover as in the images and in the listing. We recieved it promptly in two days and found the canopy is NOT white its SILVER! Also the white images show a carry bag with Wheels and other posts have complimented the bags having wheels. The bag received does NOT have wheels. Finally the stakes are not as the images, they are a 5" skinny metal nail with a hook. Called Target cutomer service and they were not any help. Said to return to local store and we need to order another and she said "HOPE" we get white and bag with wheels! She said she would advise Spreetail but no other solution. Extremely dissappointed with Target and Spreetail. The tent is a great tent which is why we ordered, but they sent the WRONG color which Silver isnt even listed on their website!!??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Crown Shade pop up tent is perfect for all things outdoors. The canopy provide a huge amount of shade - over 10 people can fit. The steel frame is sturdy and the tent can be adjusted to 3 different heights. Quick and easy set up and take down is one of the best features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to assemble, then when putting it up, boom, went up so easy. Folded it back down, slipped the cover back on it, which, by the way, has wheels and two strap handles to help pull and store it away again. We ordered the 10x10 in navy blue. It also comes with ropes and stakes to secure it on the corners. One suggestion would to sew a Velcro pocket on the outside of the cover to store the stakes and ropes. I would highly recommend this product.

I have another cheaper 10x10 however, I will be giving that one away and using this one. It is very easy to put up and close down. Not much more to say but, YOU MUST GET IT! Great job on this one Crown Shades! I am truly impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Crown Shades 10 x 10 Foot Instant Pop Up Folding Shade Canopy for coverage from the rain and sun. It is the perfect size and was easy to put together and take down. The blue color looks amazing . I recommend taking down prior to any high winds. You will not be disappointed with this canopy. Highly recommend.

It's very easy to set up and take down, no more than a minute or two, and it comes with a convenient carry bag for transport. The bag is a bit heavy though, around 30 pounds, but still worth it. I got the 10x10 version which provides plenty of shade for a small group of people. The only downside I see so far is the pegs to anchor the canopy to the ground. They are made of plastic and I would have preferred them to be steel, so I could hammer them if needed. The plastic pegs are perfectly good for sand and soft ground though. Overall, I highly recommend this canopy to anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors!
