Cubitt Jr Smart Watch Fitness Tracker for Kids

My daughter likes the watch but the strap clips that hold the band together broke!

After only three months of daily wear by my 9 year old, the clasp has broken and is no longer usable. The piece that holds the extra band down once it’s clasped broke two months in but he just used a rubber band to hold it down since he did love the watch. But, now that the clasp is broken too there is no way to make it usable. Very disappointing.

After only ON MONTH of use, it wouldn't charge. Returned it. My grandson enjoyed it while it lasted but not worth it's short life. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! If I could give it negative stars I would.

My son enjoys his smartwatch. He loves the activity tracker. He has been extremely careful with this watch, but the band has still broken. He hasn't even had it an entire month and he takes it off when he plays sports. I'm concerned that even with a replacement, the band isn't going to last.

It broke the second day he wore it.

Cheaply made. Touch screen doesn’t work well. Strap keeps falling off. Unhelpful company.

I bought this for my 10-year-old who doesn't have a smartphone. It looks sleek like a premium smartwatch and is not too bulky. The watch has a soft silicone band. Functionality is good for basic functions and games. Now, onto setup; this is important because there was conflicting information in the reviews. You can absolutely set up this watch for basic functions WITHOUT pairing it to a smartphone or using the app. We did this. Some functions may be limited, but we were able to set the time, date, choose from 8 display styles, and access 8 games. The trackers and health features appear to function well. My kid loves it. I downloaded the instructions from Cubitt official before receiving the watch. It said to use the app HitFit Pro. However, we did not have to do this yet. The watch package and instructions that came with the watch say to use the Cubitt Jr app. We did not do this either but will try if we need to. After receiving the watch, I went to Cubitt official to download the user manual, and it has changed from using HitFit Pro to using the Cubitt Jr app. Strange. However, we did not use an app to set up the watch. If we need to, we will try the Cubitt Jr app first and then HitFit if the other does not work. They seem similar. Bottom line: We set up the watch without the app. My kid loves it and it looks great. I recommend this for kids who aren’t ready for a smartphone, but I also think it would be great for kids who have a smartphone as well. I think it's good for up to age 12-13. I will edit if we end up using the app or if anything else changes. Very happy with this purchase.

My child isn't quite ready for a cell phone, but she does have an iPad. This watch pairs seamlessly with the iPad, allowing her to connect to the app easily. She loves the color and functionality, which is all that matters to her. While the app and watch have a few quirks, they don't overshadow the overall value. I would definitely recommend it.

My Hubby got this for my 7-year-old son and it went together fairly easily.Using the timer and changing the background of the screen is something she loves doing.We liked the heart rate feature and comfortable style for everyday wear. Overall great purchase and satisfied the "want" for a smart watch.

Watch was easy to set up and looks great. I’m still exploring the features, which is fun to do. My fave is the calorie tracker, overall amazing!!!.

It works well. Although the first one didn't function properly, the replacement works great. It's a gift for my 9-year-old granddaughter, and she loves counting her steps.

Band broke within a month and can’t find replacement band in same color.

If you have an elementary-age kid who doesn’t need an Apple watch but is suffering from fomo nonetheless, this watch is a nice alternative. There’s just enough functionality to keep my daughter’s interest, but I don’t have to worry about her texting, accessing the internet, etc.

This is not a review on the watch itself because we haven’t used it. But I bought this online for a gift, and was pretty disappointed at how it came. The box was open, crumpled, and the contents looked like they had been pulled out and then shoved in again all disheveled. Anyhow, it definitely is not in the shape you’d want to give as a gift. And it makes me question if there might be something wrong with it for it to have been returned like this. I’m planning on taking it back to Target and would like to replace it with a new one, but I bought it during Target Circle Week, and I don’t know that I can get the same price again after returning it. Is there anyway I can get a new watch for the same price I paid?
