Q: First time using this pan I had a burning metal smell all over the house for hours...Did this happen to anyone else? Also after cleaning it leaves multi color spots everywhere.
A: Hi Ma423. I'm sorry to hear about the burning smell you experienced. Multicolored spots can indicate over heating the cookware or using heat without anything in the pot. That is likely the cause of the smell. The marks themselves will not affect the performance of the cookware, but can be removed with a stainless steel cleaning product like Bar Keepers Friend. I also recommend reviewing the user manual linked below. I find these to be very helpful when I am learning about new cookware items. Please let us know if you have questions.
