For the 24” Cleanburn Smokeless Fire Pit we recommend you use wood chunks or split log sizes of up to 18” long or smaller, which burn well inside as these are lengths or logs are normally what you can buy in bundles at the supermarkets & hardware stores or get as cut cord wood @ 16”(Std.). Layer in 4-6 logs to start, adding more as needed to keep the fire going.
• EASY CLEAN ASH TRAY: Clean-up is a breeze and just takes 2 steps with our patent pending design Ash Tray base of 304 stainless-steel, simply remove the fire bowl and lift the base to empty ashes. The ash collects into the ash tray. This ash tray also will keep the embers and coals contained so they don’t clog the airflow.
• REAL FIRE PIT HEAT: Best used on brick, concrete, stone, or other masonry surfaces. If you would like to use on Lawns, Asphalt, and other heat-sensitive areas, we recommend using the (CHA-870) Cleanburn Fire Pit Riser (sold separately) to give you an additional 2 inches of cooler airflow space at the bottom. We do not recommend using on wooden or artificial wood surfaces when left unattended. Keep the outdoor fire pit a minimum of 10 ft. away from buildings, structures, any flammable items, and vehicles.
• EASY ASSEMBLY: No tools required! Simply place the fire bowl onto the base ash tray and it is ready to use. Nests together for compact storage or transport.
