Q: There's plastic inside the kettle on the pour spout and strainer. I removed the strainer, but can't get the plastic pour spout off. Is this removable?

The clear material on the water level indicator is made of TPX Polymethylpentene the characteristics are similar to those of traditional polyolefins TPX features superb clarity, transparency, gas permeability, heat and chemical resistance and release qualities. Q: They say that the water does not come in contact with plastic, but the window where you can see the level IS plastic. Just because it’s BPA free doesn’t mean it’s not plastic. So, it DOES come in contact with the plastic that is window, correct?
