They taste great and this particular flavor doesn’t have any seed oils in it! It’s hard to avoid seed oils so I always appreciate it when a convenient prepared food doesn’t contain seed oils in it.

These were on sale so I decided to give them a try. Figured they would be convenient to take to work without needing a can opener. The beans are medium heat, which I would expect for something with chipotle seasoning. They are seasoned well- the cumin and chipotle are a good combination, and not too salty. I see them for a vegetarian taco salad with avocado, cheese, lettuce, sour cream and salsa. Then I but the bag in a gallon size resealable bag and had the rest the following day. Perfection.

You heat it up right in the bag- and I would suggest heating it up a tad longer than it says. The flavors are honestly so delicious together, and there is a good size portion in the bag. I actually thought it was a good substitute for chili so I decided to put cheese on it. It was very filling and makes a nice individual meal. Honestly, this goes great with anything, rice alone, with tacos or even as a side. It’s perfect to bring to work when you’re extremely busy but need a good meal.
