Q: I purchased this and it came with three rods, and I see no way of connecting the 3rd rod. Am I missing something? I think it may be a mistake in packaging?

submitted byJulie - 7 years agoA: Hi Julie! On my set one rod is smaller and feeds into the two end ones so it ends up in the middle. This way you can make it the longest possible. Hope that helps!

A: WE DID THAT AND IT WORKED OUT WELL. THE ONLY THING IS WHERE THE TWO RODS CONNECTED WE TAPED TOGETHER SO THEY WOULD NOT COME APART. WE HAD THE RODS ACROSS AN ENTIRE WALL.

A: TAlbert: Yes, the 66"-120" Faux Wood curtain rod can be used without extending it at all. However, the maximum width to achieve this would be 66", so please ensure this width will cover your window. For your information, all telescoping rods in the market include a smaller and larger diameter rod, so the visibility of the smaller diameter rod is unavoidable when the rod is extended. The Faux Wood 1" diameter rod includes a pair of finials, as well as the brackets and mounting hardware to complete installation. The finials are about 2.5" in diameter. The brackets are 2" high and project 4" from the wall when installed. Thank you for your interest in our product!

The rod is a hand-painted multi-layer faux wood finish as the name implies. The reason it is not real wood, is it is not possible to telescope real wood to offer multiple length options. We are sorry the rod set was not what you were looking for.

As others have said, the rod part easily scratches and arrived with knicks on it already. Then got more knicks on it putting it in place. It also arrived with one of the knobs broken off, but since I didn’t have time to return and get another, I super glued it and so far it’s working out. I really like the look of it for the style room I have it in and that’s why I gave it 3 stars, but disappointed on the quality and that I received it beat up.

Nice concept but could only order online. First off the box was totally mangled. The product itself had some minor chipping near the base of the rod where the end connects, which would have been ok but the whole rod looked used as if someone had been dragging a curtain across it and then returned it. The “wood” is a sticker which easily rubs off. Returned.

I ordered two of these, however they are both different. The faux “wood” tones are both different to the point that I don’t even feel comfortable using in the same room, as well as the circumference and mounting hardware.

We are able to determine that the two rods are two entirely different styes in the images by their different rod diameters, different finishes, and different finial designs. We hope that you considered replacing one of the faux wood curtain rod styles with one with the same diameter, finish and finial design. Thank you.
Never received middle part to the long curtain rod

Pretty self explanatory. The pieces are largely pretty cheap and they're metal, not wood. We never received the middle rod that goes in between the two long rods. We were unable to hang it because of this. Instead we received a third rod, that does not fit in between the other 2 long ones. We need a middle one in order for it to work. Please send us one ASAP so we can finally hang these. Also these screws were very difficult to install.

We are sorry for the trouble you are having. The rod set DOES assemble without an issue. Per the instructions, the finial needs to be REMOVED from one of the rods before assembly starts. Once you do this, you will see that there are three telescoping rods. The finials ship this way for protection.

Out of all of the curtain rods at Target these to me are the prettiest. They are simple yet they aren't because they are just pretty with the way they are made. The quality of them is great, they are easy to install, and the color just goes with everything. I have white linen curtains hanging on mine and they do the trick. They also will hold heavier curtains very well and will not bow or fall down. These are my favorite curtain rods, for sure. BUY THESE!
