Upon opening both bottles of this Ribose it smelled like some kind of harsh chemical. I used it anyway and it seems to work. Swanson's is a great company with great products this is not from them. Next time I will try their product to see if it smells the same maybe it's suppose to smell this way.

Bought this as it was inexpensive, but switched to Swanson brand which also has malic acid. Had a rather strong odor, but they all seem to, to some extent.

I bought a much smaller bottle at a local health food store. This is the same product and you get twice the amount for the same price. I love D-Ribose, it takes a few days to a week for me to notice a difference but I feel better and have more energy.

I read about D-Ribose online and wanted to give it a try to boost ATP energy. Within just a few days I found that it really works! I am very happy with this product and I will always buy it from Swanson because their price is the best! I was paying twice as much at other retailers.

Now is a fantastic company! Their D (deoxy) ribose is exceptional. D-ribose combines well with creatine and vitamin A, to make a very good muscle fuel precursor. It's main function would be improved ATP stores, and it has shown great promise in clinical studies (D-ribose, not necessarily Now brand) to increase contractile duration.

This ribose, as stated in another review, has a very strange, unpleasant aftertaste I am going back to opening Swanson ribose in my yogurt - the taste and texture is better by far. I wish the Swanson came in v-caps.

I decided to try this because of the price. However, it has an awful after-taste, which I find concerning. The Swanson lable D-Ribose is far, far better. My advice is: Don't waste your money on this product.

Due to a fatigued feeling and tired-like state that I was experiencing from a cleansing regiment of various herbs and supplements over a period of about 5 years, I decided to start using the "D-Ribose" supplement. After only about two days of taking the D-Ribose, I felt a graceful energy state that ended my tired-like symptoms. Also, a smooth euphoria was noticed, especially in my brain. There were no side effects.
