The paint dissolved off the car in the bath and the car became sticky after that.

My son was disappointed that the car was tiny inside the bath bomb. I did enjoy the smell.

I gave my son this bath bomb in his bath and after 10 minutes of Prize ( plastic hot wheel car) being in the Bath the paint started to dissolve off the car making it sticky and smudging, completely ruining the design on the car.

Like many other reviewers have mentioned, the paint smudges all over the car. Bath bomb smells nice, but what a mess. My son still loves it, thankfully.

My son loves Da Bomb bath bombs! Unfortunately this one didn’t have a surprise at all in it.🙃

The bath bomb is large and smells nice, but the "surprise" inside was not even a hot wheel branded surprise. i am not sure how they can use the logo on the packaging. if it was hotwheels, it didnt look like the same quality. i get you get the experience of the bathbomb but i'd think the surprise inside should be worth at least $5.

Color from toy car inside comes of, stains the body and doesn't come off.

My kid loved the bath bomb part. If you're going to put a surprise in it, it needs to be sealed in some way, because the paint from the car is getting all over my fingers. My kid really wants to play with the toy, but I can't give it to him for fear the paint will come off all over him. We had better results than some with the paint because I pulled it out immediately after it appeared in the bath, but it's terrible when you have to tell your kid you can't give them the toy that they're looking forward to

I am so upset with myself for spending so much money on this product only to have gotten a cheap toy inside. There are actual hot wheels car that are the same size as these cheap ones that would’ve made the bath bomb worth it for me. They definitely fooled me but won’t be fooling any of my friends with kids. I have already told them how crappy this product is.

Such a disappointment. It’s not even a real hotwheels car. It’s just some cheap little car similar to what you get in the treasure chest at the dentist. Not worth it.

The scent was accurate, smelled like cherry and my 5 year old liked the red water. However with the “hot wheels” logo on the label I expected it to be a hot wheels surprise. The car is very cheap and certainly not a hot wheels. Not sure why they would advertise it as such. Not worth the $8

The bath bomb itself smells like cherry as advertised, it’s a large bath bomb and it works great. The car inside however, will not look like a hot wheels car. The paint on the car did not stick and is completely smeared. Do not buy this for the toy inside.

The scent of the bath bomb is not an issue, but the cars paint started disappearing instantly. My son was so sad to see the car get destroyed after one use. Also the paint would leaked off and leave an oil slick stain on the bathtub

Smells like a port-a-potty and the car is cheap.

Hello. I am displeased and disappointed by my most recent purchase of this bath bomb. As a surprise gift to my partner I planned a relaxing spa night. I got this horrendous bath bomb with high hopes at the store. I came home prepared everything. It is a slap in the face to the scent of cherry and the creator should be ashamed to even be label it that scent. At first it smells like fun dip then in a quick turn of events it is like a cough medicine from the 18 hundreds. And that little toy is pathetic. I wasted time and money with this mediocre bath bomb. I don’t recommend at all.

Color came off the car and is difficult to get off my child.

I dislike that the paint on the very cheap car is dissolving. It’s not dry at all, and I can hardly believe that it’s been approved by hot wheels. I came here to write a review after using the bath bomb, but was also dismayed to see the vast majority of other reviews also having the same issue. This is disappointing for sure, and that a company would choose to make such a lackluster product.

The “Fun Surprise” inside is more like a cheaply made toy that isn’t even the brand that is marketed and is not even able to be enjoyed as soon as the bath bomb has dissolved. Got this for my 5 yr old son, he saw this in store and got super excited. Loves hot wheels, we had a fun weekend and figured this would be something fun to end the weekend before school starts back up Monday. I picked the toy car out of the water to dry it off and to make sure all of the bath bomb had been dissolved all around it, to find out my fingers were covered in paint and the paint had already started to wipe off even before he had got the chance to play with the thing. I figured he wouldn’t have gotten an actual hot wheels toy, but very disappointed that the paint to this toy did not stay in place one bit. The only pro to this situation is the bath bomb smelled good and my son liked the red color.

Bath bomb part was fine, my son liked the red water but the car was extremely disappointing. It was a cheap toy that the paint immediately transferred to my son’s hands and I had to scrub off him. Would NOT recommend-especially at $8!
