[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with this product! I had no idea it was gluten-free pasta. My mom and I are transitioning from regular dairy to non-dairy, and we both genuinely enjoy this. It’s incredibly creamy, which is a big plus. If you’re an adult switching straight from something like Velveeta shells, you’ll definitely notice a difference, so manage your expectations. It doesn’t have to mimic American cheese to be delicious—it stands on its own. That said, the aroma could be a bit different compared to the classic flavor of other brands, and that might influence how some people perceive the taste. Still, for folks like me, it’s more than good enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really appreciate how quick and easy this was to make. I especially liked that everything you needed to make it was included in the package. There is no need to measure out and add any liquids or anything like that. The noodles cooked up really quickly. After I drained them, I was worried that they would have that sort of weird gluey consistency that some gluten-free noodles have, but actually, the texture was excellent. The noodles had a great bite and chew! The sauce mixed in well and looked right, good smooth consistency and color. I didn't, however, like the flavor of the sauce very much. The flavor was pretty bland except for a hint of a slightly vinegary flavor and smell. I wish the sauce had a lot more actually cheesy flavor to it and also seemed like it could have used a pinch more of salt. Other than a slight cheese flavor and a slight vinegar flavor, the sauce tasted very flat. I likely won't buy this product again, but if I did, I think it would be okay if you doctor it up a bit. I would probably start by adding some smoked paprika, maybe some mustard, salt, and pepper, maybe some brewers yeast. I do think that if you are going to do all that work anyway, you may as well just find a good vegan mac recipe and make it from scratch, though. This product could be okay in a pinch, and if someone served it to me, I would eat it.

Noodles are packaged in their own wrapper separating them from cheese package. Price is comparable to other deluxe Mac n cheese brands. Gluten and dairy free.

Standard mac and cheese packaging. The cheese sauce texture is creamy and on point with "cheese" consistency. The noodles are also a good texture. Where I find this lacking is the flavor. This isn't bad, but to me, it is bland compared to other brands containing dairy. Daiya is definitely on to something, though, with this one, and hopefully, they can bring out the flavor more in the future.

There isn’t much good I can say about it but it was free & im not too mad about it. But if you can’t have dairy I mean it’s a tolerable option, but I can and I probably wouldn’t buy this again. But not bad.

It’s a pretty good substitute for mac and cheese, maybe it’s the desperation speaking as someone who hasn’t been able to eat cheese for nearly a year due to a severe intolerance but it actually has flavor unlike some other dairy free cheese products I’ve tried. As someone whose been lactose intolerant for many years and has tried various products, this is decent. It’s not a direct replacement, however it’ll work. My kids like it when we cut up hotdogs and mix that in. It has a good amount of ‘cheese’ so it’s extra saucy.

It fell apart when I was serving it to my little sister who is now obsessed with Mac n cheese soo disappointing but she still likes it despite her being in a relationship with a guy who is allergic to the cheese and she doesn’t even know how it is so much of it was the only reason I had to go to her house because it is a little bit too much for her to eat by herself and she doesn’t want to get fat. The cheese sauce smells and tastes horrendous! It reminded me of chemicals with a fake cheese taste. Terrible stuff!
