A: I ended up buying this unit, so I will answer my own question. There is an adjustable shelf in the space on the right, and I can easily fit my 30 or so vinyls in there, and it's only about half full.

A: Technically yes, but the back pieces are held together by plastic braces that might not look how you want it to look.

It’s decent looking, there were so many pieces it took us 3 hours to put together. We could have put together an entire bedroom suite in that time frame. Wood is a little cheap looking, but is fine for the price point only because we got it on sale. Will be fine for now but don’t see us keeping this piece long term.

There are so many pieces to this build. Do yourself a favor and build the drawers first to save time. The white colorway is two different colors. Please look at the display photo. It is like an off white and pure white. I was devastated when I figured that part out. It was already built and too heavy to return to store.

First off all, this comes in no less than 40 parts, with 20 SETS of hardware (see pix). It's heavy, yet the fiberboard broke as soon as I put the three pieces together. I was on step 6 of 25. Granted, Target reimbursed me so I'm grateful for that, but DO NOT BOTHER BUYING THIS - it's crapboard. Even if I did get it assembled, I don't think it would have lasted, due to the poor quality of the boards.

Very solid, and heavy. But the quality isn’t great. I’ve had good luck ordering inexpensive furniture from target, but this was a miss. There were several damaged pieces unfortunately. I would have considered sending back, but I’m on the 3rd floor of a walk up and it’s about 100 lbs. the lamainate isn’t the best, but I’ve seen worse. The drawers don’t line up well and the door is difficult to adjust correctly. I got it on sale so I’m not too torn up about it.

You get what you pay for. This buffet is almost identical to ones from West Elm/All Modern which sell for over $500. However you need to assemble this piece. The box came and all pieces were included and packaged very well. The instructions were pretty self explanatory. They give you an additional screw/bolt in every baggy which I thought was really nice. Some of the pieces were a little scratched. When putting the drawers together the bolt that attaches the face of the drawers to the side became warped very very quickly and became impossible to put together. I ended up having to buy wood glue to finish assembly of the last drawer because I couldn't get the warped bolt out of the drawer. Be very careful when putting together so this doesn't happen to you. Also make sure you assemble on carpet or put towels down because the pieces do scratch pretty easily.

Solid. I put it together by myself, though 2 people would have been easier. There's one point where you are making two identical drawers and the directions are a little confusing because they don't duplicate the step for the second identical drawer. But it all worked out okay bc the drawers are identical. Just be alert to this when you come to the drawer assembly step toward the end of the whole building project.
