A: Hi, Thank you for your inquiry. Danby DPA100B9IWDB-RF can be used for a hung window and sliding window application only with parts and accessories provided including the window slider panels with minimum width of 28.35" to 54.92" max. Unfortunately, we do not have the window dimension available. I have the Owner's Manual link available below if want to check the installation for your reference. my unit stopped cooling after 2 months. i knew there was a 1 year warranty so i figured it would be ok. boy was i wrong. i have been trying for two weeks to get a resolution and the service level is so bad. no one to call, and the email replies are slow. then when they do reply, they make up reasons not to honor the warranty. i'm sure this is illegal and I will fully pursue it. i would strongly advise against purchasing any Danby product.

I saw the other 1/5 review on here and thought I would roll the dice since I love my Danby U-Shaped window AC units (also from Target). My definition of manufacturer refurbished is “we cleaned, inspected the unit, replaced parts and made it as new again”. This is not that at all. This is literally a dirty returned AC unit which they have put in a box and shipped to you. Mine also has a busted clip on the side like it wasn’t put back together right. Did they really expect the next owner not to notice that? Filters full of dust. Someone’s hair stuck on the window attachment. Packaging was also insanely terrible. Come on Danby, we expect better.

Gross, broken, and very slow customer service.

Unit arrived absolutely filthy. And after significant cleaning, I realized the clips on the hose were broken and the plugs for the drains were missing (luckily I had spare parts that fit). Against my better judgement, I decided the deal was good enough that I could look past these issues. Then the leaking started. A small but constant drip of water leaking from underneath. And since by this point the return window from Target was over I had to go through Danby customer service. And now for the most frustrating part: Danby customer service is slow. Very slow. It took three full weeks (not an exaggeration) of tedious back-and-forth for Danby to set up a service call by a technician. Fast forward three more weeks and Danby has sent me a replacement unit (also refurbished). While this unit arrived clean there was a nice 2-inch hole on the side of the unit (again, not an exaggeration). But I don't care. As long as it works, I just want this whole experience to be over. The replacement unit does work right? No, not really. The AC goes on and off every few minutes while completely disregarding the thermostat and turning the room into a giant freezer. Now I get to start a whole new slow-as-dirt customer service exchange with Danby. Please learn from my misfortune and avoid Danby.

Beware of dirty "refurbished"

I've purchased a lot of refurbished items before and have never received anything in this state. It is filled with dust and dirt. There was absolutely no cleaning done. And the best part is that it doesn't even work. Doesn't blow any cold air. Tried all of the recommendations. When moving and adjusting the unit it started with an EL OC error for refrigerant. Seems like they slapped a refurbished sticker on it and shipped it off. Tried to contact help. The woman said she was having trouble with her phone and would call me right back. Very excited to lug this 90 pound gem back down a flight of stairs and all the way to my car to return in a Target store.
