I bought this glue because it said on the package it would glue metal. I needed to repair a small part on a clock. I've used it on a cast-iron door stop it held, so I tried it on the handle of a cast-iron well pump. It all held.
Will not disappoint.

This is by far the best glue I have ever used. Rapid Fuse has been my go to glue for more then 4 years now. I have not found any type of material it has not bonded. It successfully has been used on plastic, glass, wood, fabric, rubber, metal, stone, cardboard. I have not had it not bond anything that I have tried to stick together. It stays bonded and it does not weaken over time. Occasionally I have had the issue of it not bonding in the 30 seconds it says for it to bond in, but I have found that it was on me because I had applied too much glue. This is an excellent product. I give it a strong 5 star rating. I definitely recommend.
Useless - it solidifies in the bottle, unopened

I bought this adhesive within the last year - two bottles. I just went to use it for the first time - the adhesive was solidified in the bottle - never having been opened - and could not be opened. Then I got the other bottle which was still in its original blister pack - same thing. Hard as a rock, never having been opened. What a complete waste of money! How is this even still being sold??

I bought this product 2 months ago and when I tried to use it had become solid- had not broken seal on cap. I have not had this problem before with Dap products. Will not buy again.

Use once and throw away. This stuff does not store well at all, even with all the air squeezed out of the bottle. First, it turns to a really thick goo. Then it completely solidifies into a rubbery mass the shape of the dispensing cone. If you don't have a project that you would use this up soon after opening, buy something else. It has very poor shelf life.

Thank you for posting your feedback. We are sorry to see your low star review on DAP RapidFuse All Purpose Adhesive. When stored properly, the product is expected to have an 18-month shelf life (from the date of manufacture). Depending on the frequency of use, storage/handling conditions, once opened (placed into use), the product will thicken over time, eventually the product will thicken to a point where further use is impractical/impossible. Should you have any additional questions or require further assistance, please feel free to contact DAP’s Technical Customer Service Department at 888-327-8477.

Been buying DAP products for decades since they started in the 50's, but this product does not work on many plastics --as I hoped. I've used various kinds of 'super glue' products but this didn't stack up to its task. I won't be buying any more DAP products, particuarly those that pretend to be 'new' as I'm a heavy user of various cements, and most others are much better than this RAPID FUSE.

Thank you for posting your feedback. We are sorry to see your low star review on DAP RapidFuse All Purpose Adhesive. Because you did not provide any background on your application technique or application conditions, it is difficult to provide a more detailed response. Harder (higher density) and/or (low surface energy) slick plastics, such as acetyl, nylon, polyethylene, polypropylene and PTFE can be more challenging to develop proper adhesion without additional surface preparation. Based on your description of the plastic you were intending to bond, you may benefit from the use of the RapidFuse Plastic Primer. At your convenience, please contact DAP’s Technical Customer Service Department at 888-327-8477 so that we can obtain some additional information from you and so that we can provide you with additional usage guidance.

We have all tried adhesives that claim to work for everything. Well this 1 nearly does. I have glued ceramic, plastic, rubber trim on a vehicle running board, repaired many objects and god knows what else. I have only experienced 1 application that it would not work. Largely because the parts did not fit back together well. This is far better than any of the urethane adhesives or wonder type glues that have been around for decades, that never seem to work on anything. I store the container upside down as it gets partially used to insure it does not harden in the container like the competition does.

A very small plastic clip on the exhaust fan cover got broken. DAP Rapid Fuse did the job outstandingly well within 30 minutes - as advertised. Initially, I was a bit skeptical, but this glue worked amazingly well on a very small plastic clip. I will go with DAP products always.

You use it up ASAP! I use this occasionally for minor repairs around the house. I purchased this bottle last spring and 1/2 of the contents, despite being tightly closed and stored at room temperature, have hardened and is unusable. Economically it doesnt make sense to pay for product that you cannot fully use. Is there a way to loosen this up or do I just toss it? Im very disappointed and very unfortunate as this is an excellent adhesive.

Thank you for posting your feedback. We are sorry to see your low star review on DAP RapidFuse All Purpose Adhesive. As indicated on the DAP RapidFuse product literature: "Shelf Life: 18 months (from the date of manufacture)". As the product ages, it will thicken to the point of becoming difficult or impractical to apply and will likely exhibit reduced working/performance properties. At your convenience, please contact DAP's Technical Customer Service Department at 888-327-8477 so that we can obtain some additional information from you. When calling, please be sure to have the package available, as we will need to verify the production code in order to determine the date of manufacture.

The best non-epoxy glue I have ever used. I have never had any luck with so called "Super Glue" - I can't get that stuff to stick to anything! However, this glue worked perfectly for me, wood to wood. It set up in 5 seconds. BOOM - JOB DONE!

i used this to glue my car's rain sensor metal bracket to the windshield. i put a bit spread it on the metal, annd pressed it on my windshield for 30 secs to a minute. after that u can even move the bracket. waited 30min and its solid! i think the secret is not to apply too much just small enough to cover when yoh press the material against each other. I hope this will last as claimed

I love the way it bonds so many different materials so well. Some reviewers complain about the cure time but it's acceptable, comparable to other adhesives, and definitely WORTH THE WAIT! I have had issues with epoxy being brittle, Dap RapidFuse does't have that problem. So called Super glues won't bond many materials but so far Dap RapidFuse has bonded everything I have tried it on. Wood to metal, metal to plastic, polycarbonate to wood and/or metal, the possibilities are endless. I find it really works well to glue neodymium magnets for workshop projects. They have a very smooth surface but this glue does not care, it just sticks and bonds!! Buy a bottle!! You won't regret it!!
The best and only SUPER glue.

I have been a picture framer, carpenter and DIY maniac for 30 years. This glue blows my mind. I've used it for fixing lino, small tile repairs, light wood joints and many other repairs. But it was when I sat on my glasses that I realised how good it is. The rubbery plastic of my glasses broke at the hinges both sides. I figured I'd bin them, but thought I'd try the RapidFuse to connect the arms back against the hinges, expecting no luck. After holding the joints tightly for 30 seconds, I was amazed I could put the glasses back on. Three months later, they are still well intact. I can't close the arms on the hinges obviously but I can slightly bend them against the frames and the arms still flex but not break! Incredible. I can't recommend RapidFuse highly enough. No contact with company, no BOT, just a real consumer who has never had a better glue. Thanks DAP!
Excellent for the many projects!

I've used this for various types for plastic repairs as well as making mahogany picture frames (12x14ish? and 5 x 7) and a nice redwood with maple inlay box with almost no fasteners. Glue worked exceptional with those materials. Fast grab time is phenomenal, just make sure to avoid extra glue on plastic repairs in particular as excess is only removed mechanically. Top notch product!
