A: Hi Lauren, As we are a cleaning line with ingredients powered by plants, we do not sanitize or disinfect. To disinfect you either need to use some sort of chemical, alcohol, or more naturally—with heat. Love these wipes to use on my little one’s high chair, bouncer, and his bottle making station. The smell is there but it’s not overwhelming and a nice scent. Also, this wipe is able to remove any dirt or food off of surfaces.

These are great for wiping down our diaper pad and wiping our toddler’s high chair down. We don’t worry about any harsh chemicals, and we even feel safe about giving my son his own wipe to help clean up (with our assistance, of course!). We’ve used them since our son was born and a year and a half later we are always stocked up!

The wipes are good, but what sadistic person designed the packaging? I swear every other time I pick these up, the lid pops off, the container falls to the ground, and a whole rope of wipes gets pulled out. The plastic of the lid just seems too flimsy or something. Drives me nuts. I have a screaming baby and a kitchen covered in smashed avocado… I definitely don’t have the bandwidth to pick up my cleaning wipes slowly and with great care.

I like that these are safe to use on surfaces that my little one might touch and/or put into her mouth. I use them to wipe her high chair after she makes a mess, to wipe her car seat, dirty chairs at the park. The scent is very subtle, and they clean really well!
