Q: Does the waffle make have an audible sound when waffles are done?
A: Hello! Thank you for your interest in the Dash No Drip Waffle Maker. There is not a sound when the waffles are finished, the indicator light will turn green when the cooking surface is heated but because some people prefer softer waffles and some prefer them more crispy, there is not an exact time that the waffles are finished. Q: Can this make blueberry waffles?

Q: Are there number settings on this machine to make a crispier waffle?

Q: The company responses say this isn’t a Belgium Waffle Maker but it’s called a Belgium waffle maker. Does this make Belgium style waffles? Thank you

Q: Does this waffle maker contain PFAS and/or PFOS chemicals?
A: We appreciate your concern and strive to be 100% transparent about our products with our customers. Our Dash product uses a PTFE nonstick coating called TruGlide®, which is the same type of nonstick coating as the Teflon brand you may be more familiar with. Our nonstick does not contain the chemical Perfluorooctanoic acid, more commonly known as PFOA, which has been banned in the U.S. since 2006. PTFE is safe and meets FDA standards. All of our Dash products have undergone rigorous safety inspections and meet FDA standards, which are confirmed with 3rd party laboratory testing.

Q: Are the plates removable for washing
A: Hello! Thank you for your interest in the Dash Belgian Waffle Maker. The plates are not removable, we reccomened cleaning the cooking surfaces with a damp, soapy cloth. The drip tray included is dishwasher safe. For more help, reach out to support@bydash.com - thanks!

Q: are the plates removable so they can be washed?

Q: Are both the red and green lights supposed to be lit at the same time? My unit seems like its acting up, as it never got hot enough to crisp the waffles.....
