Q: I hung these and extended out almost 116 inches with the middle support but the three pieces of the rod are super unstable and uneven. Is there a trick that I’m missing to keep the rod level all the way across?

I love these curtain rods. They look good and the quality is great. You'll find cheaper rods out there, but those are almost certainly screw together sectional rods. If you're going to be hanging tabbed curtains where you want to show the rod itself, you'll want to avoid those. The only drawback to these is that the hanging hardware makes it tricky to hang. It's a closed loop instead of being a U-shaped bracket that allows you to easily drop the curtain rod in. It's part of the look and the hardware does add to the look, but it will make it difficult for people who need to try many different curtains out before deciding on which one they like best. These come with extremely weak hardware. You should use heavier duty anchors, longer screws, and whatever material that the bracket is made out of bends extremely easy. Would be good for extremely light curtains only.

Should have read the 1 star reviews before purchasing. Comes with 3 end pieces and no extender piece so there’s absolutely no way to use them. We bought (2) different sets so this is clearly a recurring issue.

I have no idea what could possibly be going so wrong, we’ve never had this issue before with other rods, but this side rod is always sliding out of the middle extender when we try to open and close the curtains. There’s no way to tighten the hold on the mounting bracket either.
