The story of Dave’s Killer Bread began at the Portland Farmers Market, when Dave Dahl and his nephew brought some loaves of Dave's bread to sell. For Dave, this marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life. Though he grew up in a family of bakers, his life took a different path. A path that landed him in prison for 15 years. Determined to prove his worth and make a positive impact, Dave worked tirelessly to bake breads that tasted unlike anything else on the market — packed with seeds and grains, made with only the very best organic and Non-GMO Project Verified ingredients. Dave’s Killer Bread believes everyone is capable of greatness. I've been eating particular this bread for 6-7 years. It's the only bread I'll eat. Extremely nutrition, delicious. A bit pricy but if you can handle that, try it. Excellent for your kids.

Great-tasting bread for Shabbat is high in protein and flavor. One slice makes me feel full. Great for tuna fish sandwiches or egg sandwiches because it does not get soggy. I love it!

I eat this bread daily. I recently read an article that showed contamination with both arsenic and cadmium. The source of the information was LEAD SAFE MAMA.

I got introduced to this bread by my cousin who found it while navigating a soy allergy. I absolutely love this bread and I’m not nearly as bloated after eating it. It feels good to my body. I keep it in the fridge and get amazing shelf life this way. The Good Seed recipe is my favorite❣️ Love what you’re doing here💜

(I normally would give it 5 stars+) I am most likely your biggest fan of Good Seed thin slice. I eat it at least twice a day. All of the loaves have tiny white seeds on the now, the load is not as moist and the taste is bland. Please 🙏 bring back the old recipe! Please!

I love this bread and eat it everyday. I opened a loaf that I bought 3 days ago and reached in for a couple of slices to make a sandwich. But oth slices had alot of mold on them. I had already eaten 1/3 of the loaf. Now I know where my stomach issues came from. Going to have to go back to Arnold's oatnut bread.

I randomly saw this in my kitchen, no idea who, where, or what brought it to my house, but I'm happy I know about it now. Got curious, tried it, and I really liked it. I think the mission of the brand with the second chance employment is really noble and I appreciate the ingredients being clean/organic and the sustainable sourcing. I'm probably gonna find out and check in w my family to see where they got it from, I think this will be my bread of choice from now on.

I have been eating Dave's bread for years and it is the best grain bread I have found. I love to toast it. Toasting really brings out the taste of the whole grains.

This bread is very tasty. It is expensive though and is high in carbs. They also add 5 sugars to it. So, if you don’t care about carbs, this is a good price for it.
Quality has slipped

We have been buying Dave's good seed from the beginning when Dave and family ran the business in Oregon. Since they sold out to a mega bakery the quality has slipped. The bread used to be covered generously with seeds, now it's just a scattering. I used to feel this bread was ahead of all the rest. Now with the quality and price I can find quality bread alot cheaper.

This bread taste better than any bread I've had. It has a wonderful texture and isnt dry at all. I love all the different seeds in it as I bite in. And another important thing is it slightly sweet which is perfect. Alot of the healthier seeded breads are too dry and flat in taste Ive found. This one is a great find!!
Best seed bread ever!

I toast Good Seed bread every morning. It's sweet. crunchy, and delicious!! Can't start my day without it. It's delicious with butter too, but it's just so "yum" just toasted with nothing on it.

The only bread I will eat. It tastes good and it makes me feel good, I buy a loaf every week. It's the most expensive bread option, but that's a price I will pay for high quality.

I'm sure there is an identical DK bread 🍞 like this without seeds, but I haven't found it yet. The seeds!!!! Why? Why sprinkle messy seeds all over the bread? They end up dispersing everywhere. I get the seeds stuck in my teeth. The seeds can go. Other than that, 🙂 I do indeed like this bread 🍞. Now Target why is it I cannot have bread shipped to my home? It's pickup/driveup only. Bread doesn't seem too difficult to ship. I want it shipped! I mean I'm ordering 🌻 Sunflower Butter. I need bread 🍞 to go with it.
