Q: How thick is the mattress that comes with the crib? Will we need to purchase a different mattress?

A: It's only a 1 inch pad. You should still get a mini crib mattress. Davinci has some good ones.

I put this together for my daughter yesterday and she slept in it last night. I went to move it to find her pacifier this morning and the entire side ripped out. The threaded screws completely ripped out of the side they were on. It didn't even make it 24hrs and now we have to go through the process of reutrning it and getting a new crib.

This crib completely fell apart after only 2 months. The threaded inserts stripped out of their holes and the whole crib collapsed on itself. This is a safety issue for any infant using this product.

The quality is ok for the price, some chips, scratches and crookedly installed hardware but overall fine. I installed it alone in about 2 hours. The instructions aren’t the clearest - no wording and the pictures are incorrect in a couple of places (step 2: the hinge is drawn to bend the wrong way; step 5: the screw is drawn to be installed in the second hole from the bottom but it really has to be the third hole from the bottom or else the top holes and legs won’t align). It’s easy to move around but the foldability function feels a bit useless. No smell present like others have complained. Overall I’d buy it again but just know it’s not the highest end piece of furniture.

We liked that this crib could be folded up to be stored when not in use and that was a contributing factor into our purchase over less expensive options. When the box arrived I could tell that it had been previously opened and taped back up which makes me believe the item I received had been purchased and returned. As soon as I opened the box I saw that the butler hinges in the folding side pieces are installed crooked and those pieces won't fold as expected. I took them out and tried. This is a major defect since the crib cannot function as advertised. I'm really disappointed and dissatisfied that a company would even partially assemble a product if it's not goinng to be done right. I've posted a questions in the Q&A section to see if anyone else experienced this issue.

When we opened the box the smell of paint was breath taking. It is supposed to be a green guard gold certified product. There was no way that I was going to keep it and let my grandchild sleep in it. Had to return for a full refund.

Love this crib. I love that it fits everywhere, the smell of paint people talk about literally goes away, & the mattress is perfect for newborns once baby gets bigger Id recommend a new mattress. But over all I love it.
